I couldnt even work out how to delete the 'bay torrent, so I guess this is still out there for those that want it....for now

I have actually been back in touch with the antipiracy team and informed them that I deleted the torrent links from the DVD Holocron and that I would no longer discuss the distribution of this movie and their response was that they now consider the matter closed.....so I guess I got away with it!

Apart from the glaring mistake that shows they never did their research (".....your production consists of a copy of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith...."), it seems they're only worried about 'consumer confusion'....in other words, the possibility that people might mistake this for an official lucasfilm product, when obviously I have absolutely no affiliation with Lucasfilm or its subsidaries. Quite a compliment when you think about it.

Anyway, since distribution seems to be the major sore point the torrent at demonoid is down (although I haven't been able to figure out how to remove the one at the bay).

Also since it appears that the page at dvd holocron is what caught their attention (a screenshot of the page was attached to their email), I have also removed the links back to here......this site seems to have slipped under their radar and I'd like to keep it that way

Subject: UNAUTHORIZED USE OF STAR WARS COPYRIGHTS AND TRADEMARKS

July 24, 2007

VIA EMAIL: daveytod@tiscali.co.uk

Re: UNAUTHORIZED USE OF STAR WARS COPYRIGHTS AND TRADEMARKS

Dear Sir:

Lucasfilm and its affiliated entities (collectively “Lucasfilm”) are the exclusive owners of all rights in and to the major motion pictures Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back, Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (the “STAR WARS Films”). Those motion pictures and the characters and unique elements related thereto (the “STAR WARS Copyrights and Trademarks”) are protected by the copyright and trademark laws of the United States and other nations.

It has come to our attention that you are using STAR WARS Copyrights and Trademarks without Lucasfilm’s authorization. Specifically, we refer to the production and distribution of the film, “The Clones Revealed” (the “Film”). Based on your description of the Film (see attached) your production consists of a copy of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith compiled with various other material created and owned by Lucasfilm. In addition, the packaging and promotional materials draw extensively on STAR WARS Copyrights and Trademarks. As such, there is a high risk of consumer confusion regarding the provenance of the Film. It is likely that a consumer would think that the Film is authorized, affiliated or endorsed by Lucasfilm. Therefore, although Lucasfilm appreciates your enthusiasm for the STAR WARS Films, we are unable to authorize or license you to use STAR WARS Copyrights and Trademarks in this manner.

Therefore, you are hereby put on formal notice that the Film constitutes trademark and copyright infringement and unfair competition. By this letter, we request that you immediately cease and desist from any further unauthorized use of STAR WARS Copyrights and Trademarks including, without limitation, distribution of the Film, and that you immediately provide us written assurance that you will comply with the requests set forth in this letter no later than Tuesday, August 7, 2007.

Nothing in this letter shall be construed as a waiver of any claim at law or in equity which we may have against you or any other party, each of which is expressly reserved.

Sincerely,

Business Affairs, (Antipiracy)

Ever since hearing of a similar feature on HD-DVD I've thought that would be the best way for a project such as this. Unfortunately I have no idea how to achieve such an effect.

D'oh!! How the HELL did I make that schoolboy mistake??? The worst thing is, I'm a huge EU fan, with nearly every book ever published. That's a cock-up thats gonna haunt me for sure

...Threepio's first scene, you have BTS pics of him in the full suit, but he originally shot that scene in the puppet suit and they bluescreened him in at ILM wearing the full suit during post (The BTS pics were from the end of the funeral sequence). Then later, in the garage, you have a whole sequence of Anthony Daniels with the puppet suit that should have been placed, at least partly, in Threepio's first scene, as well as in the garage. The scenes with Padme and Beru in the kitchen are also placed in the wrong spot, these were supposed to be after Anakin left to find his mother but before he got back.

I've placed these scenes where they are simply to lump them all in one place, for example, having an entire 3PO segment, rather than going into the history when we first see him.

Also, lots of flash frames at the cuts - I don't know how you missed all those.

Me neither, but if I ever do another one (and I'm not sure that I will), I know how to avoid it.
