Ahsoka shouldn’t exist. She was contrived for the series, and then conveniently dispatched from the Jedi order, and she is never mentioned in ROTS.

I’ve always thought this, it’s just strange that they decided to do it. Especially since Anakin wasn’t even a master yet.

I hated it and thought it was weird until the season 2 finale of rebels. It just clicked for me. Added an extra layer of tradegy

Yeah, Ultron basically ruined Natasha as a character.

The Russos work before and after Ultron with her character is what saved it from near destruction. But the whole flashbacks to her origin in Ultron was very awesome for her character I thought. Her inability to have kids and her harsh training was a fascinating addition to her character. But God, that romance was cringy…

This sounds amazing, I can’t wait for the fixed release! Hopefully things can be worked out with the myspleen admins so it can be accessed from there as well as usenet.

What’s the issue with MySpleen?

negativ- I mean rogue1 is being a bitch and flagging all further uploads of the SSE.

And he’s allowed to get away with this… Why? I mean seriously what a whiny little bitch. “Waaaah they banned me because I was a tool, now nobody gets to see it.” That’s even douchier than George Lucas not letting us see the originals in the first place.

Ironic, ain’t it?

So hella ironic

Avengers - Age of Ultron - 5/5

Not as good as The Avengers, but a still very great. Excellent finale to Phase Two.

Wait…it’s not finale to Phase Two? There is another movie after it? Why?

This IS the finale. It ties Phase Two together. I honestly can’t think how Ant-Man is going to work out as a finale.

Interesting. I give it like a 4/5. Very fun indeed and a nice finale. My cons with the movie were:

-Ultron was somewhat of a letdown. James Spader was great but it wasn’t as terrifying as the trailers hinted at.
-The Natasha/Banner romance I felt was half baked and stuck out like a sore thumb.
-The Humor sometimes didn’t work.
-The pacing was a bit problematic in the middle.

Besides those flaws, I thought it was very satisfying indeed.

I’m just curious if you enjoy the twist being preserved or the removal of episode 1 more?

That’s a pretty dumb question. Frink has made it clear he hates the prequels regardless. Why would he give a damn about the benefits of the Machete order?

Asshole. It was an honest question. Some of you guys are so hostile on this forum.

That’s not machete order, the point of machete order is to cut episode 1.

Despite its name, that’s not its purpose. The cutting of episode 1 is only secondary compared to the true purpose of machete order. All these things matter more:

Beginning the saga with ANH

Beginning with TPM sucks because it lacks the explanation of the world it takes place in. Most can agree that ANH is the better way to first experience Star Wars.

Preserving the twist

Nuff said.

Learning Anakins Backstory then experiencing his Redmeptiom

Perhaps the greatest glory of machete order which is that after the reveal that Vader is Lukes father, the mystery is evermore present so the prequel trilogy tells the story of this tradegy. Then once you jump back into episode 6 his redemption means that much more.

When watching the blu Rays I stick with cutting episode 1 but I find Cloak of Deception is a vast improvement that makes TPM very enjoyable and as a bonus I get to see Duel of the fates.

Viewing this again, it looks to me like the ships arrive from the other side of the forest, which is why they’re skimming the trees where Rey is hiding. I’d suggest giving some more movement to the Star Destroyer, as it is entering the frame from right to left. There’s no need to show the individual fighters and landing craft, since they are all shown later to be traveling fairly horizontally over the forest to the castle, presumably to be a surprise. If everyone saw TIEs and landing craft approaching the castle, there would be immediate pandemonium, but with just the distant Star Destroyer, it’s a bit more believable that there would be a few moments of relative calm beforehand.

In my opinion, the continuity is this: The Star Destroyer enters the system and launches attack crafts before it becomes visible to the castle, and only appears overhead moments before the attack group as a safeguard against escape.

JEDIT: In my ideal version, Finn looks up to see an escaping ship destroyed with lasers, but the source of the lasers is hidden behind the clouds. Then we just start to see the ship come out of the haze and cloud (and possibly the smoke of the explosion) as Finn says that ‘It’s the First Order, they’ve done it!’

That Would be amazing.

At least he looked cool though. And in the prequels, less dialogue tends to be for the better. He still beats Count Dooku and General Grievous, who had characters, just really bad ones. That’s worse than a guy with no character but a cool lightsaber and badass style.

Maul is mysterious in episode 1 and a badass. Clone Wars expanded him a bit more. But in the Rebels finale I felt he received a lot more interesting characterization.
