Help: looking for... The Land Before Time (1988) - full original uncut version
Time

This is a pretty cool article on the edits:

http://lostmedia.wikia.com/wiki/The_Land_Before_Time_%28Original_Uncut_Version%29

And here are some very brief clips of interest:

The links to the sources in the description seem to be higher quality, however.  I don't know that any of these were in the uncut version, and I kind of doubt it.

VLC Recording Alternative
Time

I think VLC is a great little video player with a number of neat features, but man is it temperamental!  I love that you can record while playing, a feature I cannot find elsewhere.  It is my preferred method of saving video clips.  But unfortunately it has caused me much grief lately.  Is there a player that can record like VLC without all the pixelation and skipping?

Info Wanted: How to download the audio from the Star Wars soundboard
Time

I haven't forgotten about this and began saving files.  Then I saw that brash_stryker had his audio project going, and it included these clips.  I figured if release was pending soon, I wouldn't steal his thunder.  I've offered to help him with the project so it gets out sooner, and he has stated he would accept, but we haven't moved on that yet.  We will see.  Hopefully soon.

Watched this movie today.  Wish we could piece together the missing scenes.  This movie has such fond memories for me, as it was probably one of the very first movies I saw in the theater, and it inspired a love of dinosaurs that lasted for years.  I remember the commercials with the deleted line, "We'll always be together," and other missing bits.  I wish there was even enough to do a sort of rough director's cut, something like the Criterion version of It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World I saw recently, with stills at times filling in for missing scenes, but I doubt even then it'd be possible.
