Well.....if you exclude the jaggies, the digital noise, the optical grain, the limited colour palette ect.....then the laserdisc/GOUT might have a better chance!.

optical grain: it's called film

limited color palette: I didn't know that gold 3PO indicates a more limited color palette than green 3PO.

But how would Luke end up in the possession of a different Wampa? And aren't the differences a result of one being from the OOT and other being added in 97?

Wookieepedia says that the Wampa that Luke cut an arm off of isn't the same Wampa that attacked Luke because one of its sources used a masculine pronoun when describing the attack scene and a femimine pronoun when describing the escape scene. The movie made it clear to me that it's the same Wampa in those two scenes. The book's pronouns were clearly typos.

Because the VHS,Betamax,V2000,Laserdiscs,8mm deran prints and 2004 dvds were so amazing!......the BluRay whatever it's inconsistencies is by far the best these films have looked on home video.

I personally prefer the look of GOUT over the look of the Blu-Rays.

That's fair enough mate.......get your hands on an OLED 1080p TV(they are coming down in price fast) and I guarantee you won't be disappointed! 

I'm not dissappointed on the tv I have. Looks like there's no issue with the picture quality.
