I would be more then happy to have another bash at syncing the 5.1 audio and release an audio fix like what Adywan did for his theatrical TPM DVD if someone could point me in the direction of a good guide on how to sync the 5.1 audio properly. :)
I asked this same question a while ago when I first started all the audio sync'ing I did, I will try and find the thread, I am pretty sure it is in the how to's, but in a nutshell you need to encode to PAL, then split into 6 mono wavs, load your original audio into Vegas, then your 6 mono wavs, then I muted all the mono wavs but the center, zoom in on the timeline, and wallah, you can see everything you need, again in a nutshell.
*edit- I just read what Ady wrote, you are on a mac, I have no idea either.

I think he used DE's LD 5.1 rips, thanks Ady for confirming what I suspected, I did not want to download any of these until there was feedback, I read that he sync'd these files up so fast and could NOT figure out how he did it, because I was using NTSC LD's and these did NOT sync right out of the box,
Why not ask?!
What the hell do you mean? and why would I need to ask, most people that download files would just post feedback, it is just common courtesy, but if your talking about the sync'ing of the files, I think I read it in his thread how he did it and Ady's comment just added to what I thought, it was not done right, they should have been PAL encoded and then converted to 6 mono wav files and edited in Vegas to the original audio, but whatever, thank you for the "Why not ask?!" that was cool.
Firstly, I don't understand this constant hot tempered nature of yours is in like every thread when someone questions something of yours - a comment/post/work you've done etc etc.
What I meant was you seemed very quick to say that you are gonna hold off, and let everyone know that in his thread. Seems a bit extreme and harsh, if you ask me. There may be a problem with the audio, but all you need to do is ask Lee about it, not be so quick to dismiss something and almost put others off downloading it as well... I know you wouldn't want someone saying "I am not downloading V3 because of..." with you only finding that info out now, and not even sure if it was true, then again you might.. I don't know.. but either way, I think it's unfair to people who may want to download it, and be put off by possible misinformation.
Let the author of the thread confirm the problem properly themselves is all I am saying. I understand feedback is essential, but I find that a bit hypocritical coming from someone that is very quick to shoot people down in their own threads about particular things.
I am not having a 'go' at you but it's not the first time I have seen you do it d_j; it's been in other threads too, that's why I am finally saying something now..
You are so right sitting on your high and...., well forget it, you said your piece and really I could care less what those fingers of yours type, I do not mean to come off harsh but hey if I do then I do, there are others here that come off as harsh to but I don't finger point because I do not care, this is the damn internet LOL, there are lots of keyboard courage people here, but back on topic for Lee we should go.
1 more thing, I hope you don't download the V3, again I could give 2 shits, sorry Lee.
Sorry to hear that Lee, but without good audio it ruins the experience as Ady has said, it certainly would for me, plus the fact that you did DL encodes to me(and this is only me) is a waste, it is only an LD, hell I didn't even use DL's for the 97 SE V2(DV Broadcast source) or the JSC V2 I did.

Hell it was even more work to get DE's LD 5.1 rips in sync to the DV Broadcast versions I did, but it was well worth, those files sound SO GOOD when done right, or at least as good as I can get it.
PGCDemux rips them the same, they are identical, I just compared the 2.
See to me that is way to much, but to each there own right, Luke doesn't look like a white guy anymore in them shots, I think it is cool what you are "trying" to do, but just way overboard in my opinion, sorry for my opinion, I won't post anymore because you are going in the wrong direction to me, so I won't keep repeating myself LOL.
Good luck with your color adventure lee, but as I said before, there are some here that like that radical approach, I am just not one of them.
That is why you need to back off your extreme settings and just settle with it, or keep those settings and watch some very badly colored scenes, I have backed my settings off because of this, right now where you are at, some of that is going to look like crap on TV, well at least to me, some seem to like the extreme.
I just tried Muxman DrM, and it is putting the cells in the wrong spot also, so the LB is wrong to, both Muxman and DVDLab Pro are putting them in the exact same wrong place, maybe PGCDemux and DVDDecrypter can't rip celltimes correctly, is there a different method to try?
Thank you so much Sluggo, but remember these are g-force scripts, but I did put back in the 8% saturation boost on this one and Jedi, but SW has a different setting altogether, now I just HOPE I can get the V3 BLU to come out, I am trying out even more suggestions from some very helpful people, if what I plan for the V3 BLU works, this will be KICK ASS! 720P V3 video, ALL audio options in DD & LPCM, and hairy_hens\Satanika 5.1 mixes will be redone in either highest bitrate DTS or maybe DTS-HD MA 5.1, and then this will be perfect companion to the official release this Fall, and once this set is done, NO MORE Star Wars for me, I am 100% done!
1 thing though, I probably should not call it the V3 BLU, after all this is not a version 3 of Blu-ray LOL, now what to call it?
@corellian77, I am not sure if that will help or not, but this whole celltime thing does suck, I HATE that the chapters are not exact and that the LB did not go where it was suppose to.

Haha I know, it's just frustrating. I'm really ready to release this, and move on to something else.
Damn, I know exactly how that feels.
Watch it in motion, I bet them white walls blend right into the lights, it's to much.

The picture was like that in many promotional materials:
really? I would have to see that, I can't believe they would put the Death Star upside down on purpose LOL, but hey, it's cool, I just would not print that, to weird.
LOL, that does not look right, if at all possible you might want to change that, looks really strange that way.
These just don't look right to me at all, I agree with LexX, color correcting sux, it is going to be hard to please everyone with this.
I know this has been asked before, but has anyone come up with a good avisynth line yet? because obviously there is more that can be done with the color.
I know I wouldn't mind doing another version but I really don't want to use a stand alone program unless it is absolutely necessary, it seems like a waste to filter with the script, then turn around and process again with something else.
So did anyone play Dragon Age II demo yet? it is DAMN good, can't wait for this to come out on March 8th!
Well if it helps, I am not taking off the black borders, they are suppose to be there.
Back to the V3 DVD set, Does anyone know why muxman and DVDLab Pro can't place ripped celltimes correctly? I really would like to understand why the V3 DVD's chapters go off and the layer break did not set right, this stuff kind of pisses me off, I wanted these DVD's to be as perfect as I could possibly get them.
I sthere any other software that can set a leyer break and create a iso\image file?

I will be including every detail you need in my next big post.
Regarding the anamorphic issue...what would happen if you watched your clips on this TV?
http://www.hdtvlounge.net/philips/cinema-219/
Star Wars is 21:9 not 16:9, so is this HDTV. An anamorphic disk played on this TV would look fine since the black bars are not included in the video information. The video information would simply fill the space given. Isn't that the point of anamorphic?
Beats the hell out of me, I don't have a TV like that and I know no one who does, like I have said, I have never seen a Blu-ray movie(retail BD) that did not have the appropriate borders, do you have a retail BD that is borderless that is not 1.77:1?

I will join you guys, Ricardo and I have done this before at another forum we were members at.
Excellent.
One of the few pics that about matched up about precisely with what I imagined.
What do you mean by that LOL, 6' 2" 250 lb, 2007, FatBoy Harley rider? if that is what you imagined, that is me.
The black bars are on there because they are on Blu-ray discs, I have never ripped a Blu-ray movie that didn't have them unless it was 1.77:1, so it is no different than making anamorphic DVD's, they have to be there, this isn't for a MKV encode, this is for Blu-ray blank Disc, if\when I do a MKV file there will be no borders.
Now the other thing you said about an earlier version looking better, LOL, I just fracked myself again, I have done SO many things now, I do not know which is which, except for this latest I just now uploaded, this is why I need help LOL, I NEED comments and tips and ideas.
I will join you guys, Ricardo and I have done this before at another forum we were members at.
