Dual Boot?
Time

Is anyone here running a dual boot set up? I have a program that just will not run on my Windows 7 Pro 64-bit OS, so my question is, can I set up a dual boot with say Windows XP 32-bit OS on it? and how is this done, can I still read my other hard drives once in Win XP? I do not even want to try this if there is even the slightest risk of losing what is on my other hard drives.

Thanks

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

See, the problem with some of this now is this, some people just want all the hard work done for them, when there are Great programs available now with excellent instructions on how to do this your self, it is so simple it is not even funny, not saying you guys are this way, but there are some here that are.

We should just drop it for now anyways because ultimately it is going to be up to Ady what format this is released in, it would just be a shame if it is not Blu, but what do I know.

And btw I've already mentioned twice that I'm willing to make my own AVCHD.

I would NOT use Handbrake though, definitely check out BD-Rebuilder, just make sure you install all the support files in his link, and only those, as a matter of fact I just got done making a BD9 of the French Blu-ray of Mother of Tears and it looks GREAT!

if you need a link just let me know.

Frink, You have a PM!
I just put a package together with BD-RB and all support files and instructions, all quoted from Mr jdobbs himself, Handbrake can't touch this for re encoding Blu's to BD25, BD9 or BD5.

Let people who want avchd/bd9 or dvd5 shrink it themselves?

Now that is an excellent idea, but some will still complain LOL, the PERFECT tool for doing just that is a freeware tool put out by jdobbs called BR-Rebuilder, and trust me, it IS the shit, this man knows his shit hands down!

What? Then why download it? Why express an opinion either way?

I download them because I have the upmost respect for Ady's crazy cool devotion to these films, and maybe someday I will actually watch them fully, but Fan edits of the SW films are not my thing, they never have been, it is like this with me, you have a few people here that bitch, moan, groan, and complain about what GL is doing to the films and not doing to the films, but then you have these same individuals doing over the top crazy editing of said films themselves, well what makes them any different than GL LOL? I am not saying Ady is one of them, but there are some here that fall into this category and I am sure you know who they are as well without having to finger point.

I voted for Blu-ray because of Ady's devotion to these films and his level of quality, he should not hinder himself to a crappy 8 GB AVCHD, it is time to move on to bigger and better media, again that is just my opinion, take it or leave it, it is just to bad, really a shame, that ANH:R was not on Blu.

So there you go Frink, you asked me, and I was honest with my answer, so if this(my opinion) brings back lash now, well so be it, I just am not a Star Wars movie Fan Edit Fan, not at all, some of these crazy ass ideas are just to over the top, way worse than anything GL did, and I am not speaking of Ady's ANH:R or ESB:R or his future ROTJ:R.

What are you looking at? Okey, Dokey.

*Edit - I just want to add that I am not bashing Ady's project, like I said, I will browse through it, I am just AMAZED at how crazy ass good he is with this stuff.

Why not take advantage of 25 GB's instead of a friggin measley 8 GB's, makes no sense, at least not to me and I am sure a few others.

But you know what, it really does not matter anyways to me I guess, I will for sure download it, but then it will get burned and put in a box and backed up on an external drive, probably won't even watch it, truth be told, I have NEVER seen ANH:R.

Thank you Frink, this is news to me as well, if I could lock threads, I would be locking a shitload of them and doing some serious weeding of the Garden.

Star Wars OT & 1997 Special Edition - Various Projects Info (Released)
Time

OK, small update for any interested, Video for SW and ESB is rendered and encoded @ 16.5 avg, and ALL audio is done for all 3 films, I have decided to add the Imperial Edition audio to ESB, the reason being, I am able to keep it LPCM, this is the way ABC wanted it to be presented, so without any restrictions for Blu, it is a bonus audio track, which if you have not heard it, it sounds really great, by far 1 of the best scores I have ever heard.

Soon I will be testing Jedi and getting that baby ready, so maybe if all falls into place, all video will be done by the end of the weekend, the SW Blu Menu is reaching its final stages as well, I am really excited about the Top Menu's and Pop up Menu's for this set, damn I hope they work out, they are really, really cool! for those here that are actually interested in a Blu-ray set, you will be impressed with the audio line up and the menu's are just friggin sweet!

Also ChainsawAsh mentioned to me in a PM or email a while back on the V3 ESB, he liked it but said it could have used a little more saturation is color, well I took his advice and I did bump it up a little bit, so the coloring on this set will be a little different than the V3.

Well that's all Folks

What are you looking at? Okey, Dokey.

project in danger of being scrapped!

Holy shit! is he calling ChainsawAsh a troll? or you Frink, either way I read his 2 initial posts as well and couldn't figure out what the hell he was talking about either, but it seems like he is going about the ENTIRE process wrong, and Womble encoding? that is going to look bad, bad.

You say you are not giving up, then why post in the title of this thread "danger of being scrapped!"? if you are going to act the way you are then by all means, scrap it.

BTW: There is a german only languaged "Ultimate Final Cut" with a PAL running speed with about 156 minutes of Zombie - Dawn of the Dead.

Its a cut together of the US theatrical and the european cut. Its only avaible in german.. and it sucks. :) That version is like a "fan" (*cough*) cut released official to german languaged DVD marked.

Fan cut, I'll pass, most fanedits suck, at least to me.

However, the JSC isn't the holy grail.

DAMN, I could not agree with you more, but some here really think it is the SHIT, the end all be all.

It's not the Holy Grail, but unfortunately, as the years go by, it seems more and more likely that this is as good as it's ever going to get.

I'd love to take up the project myself, but I don't really know much about this sort of thing.

You think this is as GOOD as it is gonna get? LMAO! obviously you have not worked with it before.

And even after all that manual IVTC'ing you still have some shit frames, I really hated this LD Set personally(at least from a working with it point of view) but I am glad I finally got my V2 set done, it was one of the projects from my past that bothered me, so how exactly were you going to share your caps with a potential project finisher?

I am actually kind of shocked some are not here already lining up saying they want it LOL, I think some here just want to want.
