This is childish. Nothing more. You deliberately commented on this post to say you have them, only to deny dark_jedi receiving them. Why not just keep quiet and not post?

Everyone who can be helpful, is doing so, including myself.
If you can't, then just find another interesting thread. It's better for everyone.

EDIT: Furthermore, dark_jedi is right. I saw your comment. Yours just drowned in between a lot of other comments. There's nothing wrong with that. This thread clearly shows dark_jedi has his hands full. All you had to do was post your message again. But even something as simple as that didn't work.

I agree with you 100%, but hopefully his "bad frames" info for all DVD's will get posted somewhere else to help others, as msycamore stated, because there is no more reason to post in this thread now LOL.

Anyway, Empire is now done, it has been re rendered and encoded, I have not seen anything real "in your face" in Jedi so that one I believe is good to go, I just need to watch it through again.

DJ says he's seen it and he said it looked great. But then he says he likes the SW 2004SE colours... ;-)

LOL, I never said I fully like those colors, they definitely need to be toned back a bit, but it is better than the GOUT colors, which as you know are weak, colors is such a touchy subject anyways, that is why now I try to just stay out if it altogether.

But back to FOTR, all I say is watch this movie yourself, the green is NOT as bad as they lead us to believe, and most of the people damning this set before release, are now singing a different tune after seeing it themselves, and so far from all the reports at Blu-ray.com and other places, this is what WB and PJ want, so until something comes up otherwise, it is what it is.

OK, thanks anyways, and I have NO one on my ignore list, and I sent you a response, so I guess I will say it here, no I am not sending you this set to upload, if and when I do it, I will do it myself, I have been screwed over by this type of action before and I will not fall for it again, sorry.

Here is an update on things, the frames in Star wars have been fixed, and it has already been re rendered and encoded, I have found 34 bad frames in Empire that I wanted to fix, and like I have said, most are all in the snow\Hoth scenes, these have now been fixed and I am about to render a new version and encode, so these 2 will be done by tomorrow morning, see that didn't take to long, but I can't wait to watch this new Empire, I HATED all the crap frames, every time you watched one is was like a flash on the screen, and this is my favorite movie of the 3, so I want to make it as right as I can.

So if anyone can look through Jedi and see if there is anything glaring this would be great, I have not found any myself when I skimmed through it.

I'm trying not argue with some fans on the issue about the transfers of the OT SE for blu-ray. All I am saying is wait until the final product comes out in September then judge for yourself's

Now THIS I totally agree with you on, to many people just want to expect the worst right from the get go, just like the people spouting the crap on the LOTR FOTR EE green deal, sure it is there, but no where near as bad as the asshats wanted us to believe.

This is like the closest thing to fans will get to having the original trilogy in HD on blu-ray. I applaud your efforts, along with that of Harmy and OmegaMattman.

I might not quite understand what you are saying here, but omegadude has absolutely NOTHING to do with this set, he has his own deal going on, but Harmy has been very helpful.

If the problems with those frames are similar to the Vader frame you posted before, you can send me some of them as PNG or BMP (and ideally the previous and next frame) and I'll see what I can do :-)

Thank you very much, I will keep you in mind then, I didn't really want to bother anyone because everyone is busy on their own projects LOL.

I just did not like ALL that yellow in that last frame with Vader, and the bad IVTC frames in ESB really suck, like I mentioned earlier, if I at least did not try and fix some of the really shitty ones, it would bother me later, especially when watching them, plus I would like to try and have the best GOUT sourced project out there LOL, that is why there is NO AVCHD versions with weird coloring here, that is also why I recruited a very COOL person to do up fancy BD menu's, and the BEAUTIFUL audio options, LOL I can't wait to print up Harmy's menu covers and get these on my shelf! you guys have not seen those yet.

OK I just fixed(Thanks to Ady and Harmy for help on 1 of them) and rendered a new version of Star Wars, there were 2 frames that bugged the hell out of me, the one with Vader I posted above, and the last frame of the Sand Crawler coming over the dune.

There are quit a few bad frames in Empire though, I will not be doing all of them, but I want to get the really bad ones that I can fix, the 2 bad IVTC frames have already been fixed, most of the bad frames are all in the beginning Hoth scenes up until the battle, then there are hardly any at all, but the saber scene I am not going to fix, in the link above provided by msycamore there is a better frame on the PAL Empire, but only a little better, so I am not going to swap a bad frame for just a little bit better bad frame LOL.

So far I have not seen any on Jedi, except for the one also mentioned in the link msycamore provided, but since I used the PAL Jedi as the source, I do not have to worry about that one.

Like I said, if anyone has any other frames they noticed, please let me know.

By the way, I'm really sorry DJ. I know how much you wanted to be free from this project. It sucks this would come up now when you were so close.

LOL, it's alright, it is really only 1 frame so far for SW that bothers me, and 2-4 in ESB, and I have not looked a Jedi yet.

The one for SW is the one I posted above, all that yellow bothers me, but Harmy did a great job getting most out, then I tweaked it even more to get more out, but it still is not perfect, but much better than it was.

The frames in ESB I already corrected, so this should not be to much more time consuming, my PC is pretty fast at rendering and encoding, and I already have all my settings.

I know I probably shouldn't have even bothered, but now that I have seen them, if I do nothing with them, then it will play on my mind, and it will bother me, especially if it is something I can fix, so PLEASE, if anyone knows of any other crappy frames that I should take a look at, PLEASE tell me which ones and for which film.

I have it, it looks GREAT! the image has never looked better than it does right now, and if this is the way PJ wants it, well then that is fine by me, however, it it does turn out to be an error, then I will join the disc replacement program if there is one, but I seriously doubt there will be one, those early screens that were posted weeks before the release by the screenshot scientists, were big time exaggerated.

V4?

LOL, not by me, no way, getting very tired of Star Wars LOL, but I may go back and fix some of the very bad frames, it is a lot more noticeable on these Blu versions than the DVD versions, the 2 mentioned here are already fixed,

http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/Whats-missing-from-GOUT/post/457778/#TopicPost457778

but not sure if everyone wants to wait a little more for me to re-render and encode.

Out of curiosity, does anyone have a frame list of the "bad" frames in the GOUT video, for all 3 films? I am tossing around an idea, and surely would love to see a list if someone may have took the time to find these errors already, it sure would help, here are a couple samples that I am talking about.

http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/Whats-missing-from-GOUT/post/457552/#TopicPost457552 More about which frames are missing in the transfer but you have the frames with interlacing errors in there as well, don't know if it is complete.

Thanks msycamore for that, it looks like all I have to do is repeat the frame before it, it seems the motion had already stopped, or I could just snag the frame from the PAL version, I have those to.

Those look very, very nice Harmy! and can't wait to see the menu covers, I should have a screenshot for you very soon, he is getting it soon, and you captured EXACTLY what I was looking for, Thank you.

Thank you also for respecting my wishes on the distribution of these covers for this set, I really appreciate that very much, you have turned out to be 1 Hell of a partner and Friend.

Now and update on things, I do indeed have the Jedi menu now, and it looks great, we saw no errors, so now I am watching each film from start to finish, I switch audio every now and then just to make sure for in sync and to test the pop up LOL, but I am primarily staying with the DTS-HD MA 5.1, I really don't think I will ever listen to the other tracks, but it is nice to have them there just in case, I really LOVE the DTS-HD track, to me it sounds perfect, the DD 5.1 track just sounds amplified for some reason, and before anyone asks, it has not been touched, it is h_h's purist track that is also on the V3 DVD's, the DTS-HD track sounds better balanced to me, sorry if that is not the correct term, I never claimed to be an audiophile LOL.

I am almost finished with Star Wars, and so far I LOVE IT!

Seconded to what SilverWook said. I heard bad things about the BTTF trilogy box, have they fixed it? I really want the big Alien Quadrilogy Blu-ray set, but from what I have seen it comes in a weird cardboard book like case. Anybody have it? Is it as bad as I am making it out to be?

The BTTF is already been fixed, the new packaging had already been out, I plan on buying this soon, and the Alien Set is not that bad LOL, it is like a book, but they slide in and out freely, plus it would be very hard to damage or scratch a Blu-ray disc surface, with that hard coat and all, I like the Alien Set myself, but I did read that the BTTF box was terrible.

Just go over at bluray.com, and read the posts by Ken Brown, Robert Harris, Bill Hunt, and others, this IS what PJ wanted, it is approved, the screen shots that were posted weeks before the release have been grossly exaggerated to say the least, this version is the best to date, it looks wonderful.

rent the set and check it out for yourselves, it really does look very nice.
