The guy who made MultiAVCHD wrote up this tutorial on creating branched BD playlists:

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=154815

Basically you create each 'chunk' as a separate BD folder, then use MultiAVCHD to link them into alternative playlists (then use BDedit to remove redundant elements).

I've used this technique to link separate elements on a multi-part Blu-ray (e.g. a new logo before the main feature) - it's the best way I've found to create such compilations without actually editing them together (and thus reencoding). Might be worth a try, but results do vary from one BD player to another.

And this is where a problem comes up, when doing these BD projects you want to have your BD as compatible as it can be with all players and all PS3's all over the World, this to me is very important with all our BD releases, we are trying something all new with a project we are doing with having 2 versions of the same movie on 1 BD50 but they both will use the same audio and subs, should be interesting to say the least, and fun!

Swamp Thing - 93 min (Uncut) Blu-ray Project. (* unfinished project *)
Time

I am not sure if there are many fans of this crazy movie but I like it, even though it is cheesy as hell lol, but in case you guys did not know, Scream\Shout Factory is releasing this in a few months and they already confirmed that it will be the censored 91 minute version, well we have already began working on the 2 scenes that are missing and have upscaled them nicely to 1080p, we just want to have these ready for when it releases, now I know that these will probably not be as good as the BD, but until it releases and we actually see how it will look, who knows, it could fit in very nicely, because I seriously doubt this is going to be a “knock you socks off” transfer, but I am sure it will be good.

Then I will need to fix the audio, I am assuming it will be DTS-HD MA 2.0, but again, who knows, it could end up being 5.1

Stay tuned, also is there any interest in this?

If there are any other edits, they aren't obvious or documented anywhere.  I went through the French version looking for things that could, reasonably or unreasonably, be edited and couldn't find any other differences but those single-frame gags can be sneaky.  Still, all three of these changes have been previously proven and documented.  The rumored bathroom wall phone number has never been actually been proven and even if it was in the theatrical release, it was removed prior to the version used for the French HDTV transfer.

OK great then we are a go on getting this video done, and thank you again for sharing.

Info: General Terminator 1 & 2 Discussions.
Time

I have changed the thread title because we are doing much more then just T1 original audio, we are going to work on both Terminator and Terminator 2, and a big thanks to Jonno for the Terminator 2 Theatrical CDS audio!

Sources for Terminator will be the new remastered BD and the LD bit perfect rip of the original PCM audio.

Sources for Terminator 2 will be the superior video from the Japanese SteelBook(137 min Theatrical version) and the above mentioned CDS audio from Jonno.

I have to admit if there weren't so many differences from the mono to the 5.1 on Terminator I would love to edit the HD audio like I have done for other projects to add back in the wimpy sounding weapons, by any chance is there a complete list of all the differences between the mono and 5.1?

Thanks

So are we pretty sure there are no more censored spots that need fixing? thanks a lot for the frames SK and we are ready to add them back into the BD file but have not started yet, wanted to make sure there are no more that need fixing first, but if you are certain you have gotten all frames then we are good to go, this should be a real easy and fast project for us finally.

Thanks again SK for the frames.

Star Wars OT & 1997 Special Edition - Various Projects Info (Released)
Time

Hey guys we have a request for you, can someone here make us up some artwork for our releases? we are specifically looking for OT 3-disc art and 97 SE 3-disc art as well as 6-disc art that will have all our releases in 1 BD case, we are hoping some here will be able to help us with this, but keep in mind that the 3-disc cases dimensions are pretty much the same as the single disc, but the 6-disc case has a much bigger spine, and I only use Viva Elite cases, hell I think they are the only ones to make a case that holds that many anyways lol.

Thanks and hope to hear from someone to give us a hand on this.

That's the problem I have with most file sharing sites right now.  So many of them are flaky or slow.  Rapidshare wouldn't even let me upload the file until I created an account.

I can't seem to get Mediafire to work so I'll try sendspace and depositfiles.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/wjx1ky

http://depositfiles.com/files/uedxajznu

Thank you, sendspace is much better and faster, I got them.

Ok, here is a link to the frames.  I haven't been able to get avisynth to replace them properly.  If anyone has a script that works, feel free to post it.

http://netload.in/dateifNvoqSpLV3/wfrr-replacementframes.zip.htm

Thanks for the links, but RS is not working and the other is really slow lol, I wish I would have read your question earlier, I would have recommended sendspace, at least it has speed.

Thanks again, and just to be sure you said these are all the fixes that could be verified correct?

*edit, I hope this is not asking to much but could you upload to sendspace? that other site is taking waaay to long and it hangs, it says it is going to take almost 2 hours for just a 68.83mb file?

MrBrown I also have the Ultimate Army of Darkness coming as well as the France version which I should have any day now, but do you know if the Koch version of Inferno is still available?

Thanks

Inferno seems not to be sold out, you just won't find it on amazon.de due to the fact that it is Indiziert. I still see a german shop (ofdb.de) selling it for € 29,98.

And dtm.at sells it for 21.99 €.

Both prices don'T include shipping.

The German shop seems not selling international, but I think someone from the blu-ray.com forum bought something at dtm.at.

Thanks as always MrBrown for all your help on these things, also I sent you a PM.

... we only use Verbatim blanks, nothing else so please do not even ask, we want good burns with no CRC errors and we want the BD's to last! so only Verbatim blanks will be accepted, I am sure you guys want them to last and have no read errors as well right?

If that's the case, you might want to reconsider Verbatim. This from the Doom9 forum http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=149108&page=29 :

"I've started testing my oldest Smartblu discs. I've scanned a number of them from 16-19 months old. I thought you might appreciate hearing that they are holding their quality very well. LDC averages at that age still down in the 2-6 range. Better than most of my Verbatim burns straight after burning. Verbatims are showing a little higher rate of degradation, but still readable."

That thread's end pages have other bits of good, up-to-date information. Technology doesn't stand still (nor do the changing to lesser-quality 3rd party manufacturers, like with TDK).

Firstly, good to see you back D_J

Now you have to be careful when buying Verbatim. They're not all the same quality. If possible, use only ones manufactured in Singapore. The ones made in India are rubbish and just don't give such a high quality burn as the Singapore ones. Plus they degrade , but not as much as other makes.

Fingers crossed these will make their way to usenet because i can't wait to get my hands on these.

Hey Ady very nice to hear from you as well, it has been a long time since we chatted, and I know what you mean on Singapore Verbatims, but I think this is for the DVD9 Verbs, I have yet to see BD-r Verbs made in Singapore, I just looked through old packaging and some that I have now on hand and it seems that the BD25's are made in Taiwan and the BD50's are made in Japan, I have seen nothing so far on Singapore or India, now I could be wrong but could this be for the DVD9 Verbs only?

And don't worry Ady, you will get these, all of them! I will personally make sure of it for all the help and guidance you have given me over the years here, and thank you very much for the interest in our project, we all appreciate it very much and we hope you like them.

The replacement frames are layered PDF files.  I can just share them and let people do with them as they wish.  I just thought most people would rather have them in the movie instead of needing to rip the video from the blu-ray, replace the frames, and re-render the movie.

Most probably would want it done as you are doing, but some of use would rather do it ourselves and keep the BD structure, no movie only, so did you get all that is censored or will there be some left?

Just wanna add that with "no more versions of the OT or the 97 SE", DJ means after ESB and ROTJ are both finished.

As for slipcovers I'd say save your money DJ. At least for me they're not worth the extra cost since they actually serve no purpose other than looking good. And the BD cases will still look good on their own!

LOL of course you are right, I did not mean to stop after SW and ANH lol, but after both Trilogies are done, so are we, it is time to move on to other movies than need our attention.

Thanks You_Too for clearing that up.

Thanks to those that have sent PM's already, I will respond to them soon, well just as soon as I figure out what exactly I am going to do here, I personally have just ordered 75 BD cases(Viva Elites) and this is where I need to slow down on my personal spending, I have spent a lot of money on all these projects already, including gear, multiple copies of BD's and DVD's from all over the World etc.

I know I would like to do something different this time around by including\offering your movie in a BD case with art, but I have to pay for the art, it comes printed obviously and already cut to size, then the slips are also already made and cut to size and just slip over the case, and then the cases will cost a little more to ship, but this would be a nice package instead of just a BD in a sleeve sent to you, I will try and figure something out, hell I even have custom slipcovers made for our Conan The Barbarian and Night of The Living Dead 1990 projects, not to many projects out there include a Blu-ray slipcover lol, this was a really nice touch and they look great! as of right now I did not have plans to make any slips for the SW films, I guess it would be nice but I am not sure.

So as you see I still have some sorting to figure out, I really want to do something nice for those that donate this time around since we will NOT be revisiting these titles again, this is it, we are done and moving on, we have a lot of great ideas for non SW projects that we really want to get on with, so there will be no more versions of the OT or the 97 SE!

Thanks

ROTJ was the first film I saw multiple times because I wanted to.

And in 1983, I had my own car, my own money...

I know that ROTJ is the weak link of the 3 films but dam it if it isn't my favorite just because of my own unique memories when watching it.

It's gonna be cool seeing Jabba's Palace the way it should again, and long live nub nub!

And no dam Hayden Christensen either, YES!

Bless you Team Blu!

I second what You_Too has said vbangle, THANK YOU so much for the BD50's and BD25's! you have always been a huge supporter and a good friend, these will definitely help us out big time.

@vbangle: We appreciate your support!

@Spaced Ranger: The noise analyze is interesting! But with no offense intended, I think by now you should probably start your own thread, where you can explore the subject further and get feedback and all. This thread is after all mainly about Team Blu's projects.

@rockin: Thanks!

I totally agree with this, as You_Too has said we are long past this now and are about to finally release, so lets keep this about our release please, and now to this from us,

OK We have been getting a lot of PM's and emails here and at other Forums asking if we are going to be taking blank donations again like last time, and yes we are, and just like before we only use Verbatim blanks, nothing else so please do not even ask, we want good burns with no CRC errors and we want the BD's to last! so only Verbatim blanks will be accepted, I am sure you guys want them to last and have no read errors as well right?

We do this for a few reasons, some do not have burners and can't burn their own BD's, or some just do not know how, and some just do not want to be troubled with it and would rather have the project ready to go and start watching asap lol, just like before if you donate blanks you will get copies before anything gets uploaded, so you will also be like a tester for us, and we are going to be a lot more selective this time around also, because we would like your help and feedback whether it be by thread, PM or email it does not matter, but some kind of comment would be nice, the last time we did this we actually had some members that did not even have the courtesy to even tell us they got their package, so it is going to be a lot more limited this time around.

Also we am tossing around the idea of getting Blu-ray cases and we already have a guy we use that does all our printing and he does a fantastic job, he even does slipcovers for us that look great, but not sure how to do this for everyone that helps, we are not a Store and do not have unlimited funds lol, plus we would not know what covers you would be interested in because we will have choices, we are still thinking on this, but if you buy cases in bulk they are pretty darn cheap!

So this is what you will get for helping us out to get these babies fully tested and ready for all, you get ALL 6 movies, obviously only Star Wars 77 BV2 and A New Hope 1997 Special Edition Blu's are ready now, or will be very soon! Empire Strikes Back 1980 & 1997 SE and Return of The Jedi 1983 & 1997 SE you will get once they are ready, again you will get all before anyone else, and we hope you choose to help out in testing and give us your feedback, they will all be shipped to you at our expense just like before with tracking, unless you are overseas then there is no tracking, but we had no issues with this before and will not this time either, so think it over and let us know, and please understand you DO NOT have to do this to get a copy, these will all be shared shortly after the Team and the people that have donated get their copies, here are links to what we use, no substitutions are allowed.

**We have added the BD50 blanks because this is what we will use if anyone wants to do this same deal for our Conan The Barbarian US Theatrical and Night of The Living Dead 1990 Special Edition projects, all the same info mentioned above applies to these as well if interested, but we will post more on this at the appropriate time when these are closer to release, which also will be very soon!

1 more thing, I got a lot of PM's on the DTS-HD MA 5.1 track, I am redoing this from scratch because of the things I have learned I believe I can make this even better, plus there were a couple more areas that needed to be addressed, so do not send any PM's on this audio yet, I will not re upload the old audio since I will be making a new one.

Thanks
