Finally had a chance this week to check out both the Theatrical and EE version back home on my main system. Can I just say, hats off to Team Blue. Your hard work and dedication to these films is both appreciated and admired.

Totally dig the reworked EE 5.1 track (sounded amazing). After I finished watching in entirety I just started skipping around to hear my favorite parts.  Exemplary work...guys, exemplary work.

The theatrical release looks rock-solid across the board. Love your attention to detail and all the audio options.

Thank you!

Thank you very much for the very kind words, that audio took me a very long time to do and the theatrical color timing and US theatrical scenes took You_Too and I a very long time as well, hell I think this project alone ate up about a year lol.

Thanks again and I am glad you like it!

Maybe there were issues during capture?

LMFAO! yea that has to be it, you obviously know nothing when it comes to putting LD audio in sync with BD's and DVD's lol, anyone here who has done this before knows very well that you cannot just sync the start and end and hope all falls in place in the middle, Jonno, Matt Stevens, Ady, and several others that know how to do this know very well you will have drifting, more then likely because of frames, you have to line up the start and physically go through the entire time line through each and every side to get it absolutely right, maybe some of the others will chime in so you will actually believe it lol, I have done a ton of audio files for our releases and for a ton of personal stuff, so why don't you keep your little attempts at personally bashing to yourself? funny it gets brought up very nicely here to drop things so we can have a civil discussion and then you throw that comment out there lol, good form dude, good form.

I think a few of us in this thread have learned some very important things about our fellow members.

DoomBot and I had pretty good discussions by PM they just went to shit in this thread for whatever reason, but I do thank him for attempting this and I really do appreciate it because as I said I am just so damn busy with Team Blu Projects and would not be able to get this done soon for all to have, that said I was pretty surprised at how fast it was done, these take some time, and it is very tedious.

A fully in sync file is coming soon.

You should be payed for the work you've done.  Just wow.  Thanks a bunch for this!  How are we able to get our hands on the finished product?  Are you accepting donations?

I would really like to on this one because my art guy and myself came up with a real treat for those that do, and no it is not a slipcover this time lol but the blanks I use only come in 50 pack spindles.

Can't mux with mkvtoolnix, doesn't like the file.  Tried tsmuxer but did not like my mkv movie file.

Whats the best way to convert w64 to a more compatible format, if that's possible?

I didn't think about people wanting to make a mkv.

Yeah a w64 won't work with mkvtoolnix.

Guess i really should have just made a wav file instead.

So how many here would prefer a wav file be uploaded?

I know we have DJs vote already

I was wrong lol to mention this right form the very start via PM? unbelievable.

Help me remove annoying HUM/BUZZ from an audio file (PCM Laserdisc soundtrack)

Okay, these are the settings I used with this particular clip. I would recommend, however, fiddling with it on a case by case basis, as different audio could demand lighter or heavier correction.

I highlighted the waveform, opened the "Remove Hum" module.

Clicked on "Frequency Type", selected Free. Linear phase, high pass, low pass boxes are all unchecked. Harmonics is set to 8. Harmonic slope is set to "0".

Linking Type: All. Filter DC Offset is checked.

Click on the "Learn" button, select "Process".

Voila. :)

Thank you very much! will definitely hang on to this info just in case I run into something like this.

The Audio Preservation Thread
Time

Not sure if this is right here or not really didn't want to start a new thread on this but here goes, I know this was discussed at least a little in another thread but I have no idea which it was now and can't find it, but is there any interest in the DTS 5.1 track from the Laserdisc for Mortal Kombat? with a friends help I finally learned how to rip DTS tracks from LD's and from what was discussed before it is different then what is on the BD, not sure what is different but I am going to put it in sync with the BD and was wondering if there is any interest or not, if not that's cool just asking.

1 more thing if anyone knows what the difference is between the track on the BD compared to this I would love to know.

Thanks

ps. I may do Mortal Kombat Annihilation but not sure, I do not have this LD and from what I remember the sequel was not to good lol.

Once the w64 is muxed it makes no difference, It's PCM just like a wav file no difference. Not sure why DJ has such a problem with this file format, won't sound any different.

Jesus we already discussed this via PM, it is not so much the w64 which like I said to you in PM is totally not needed and it will not play on a PC by itself like a normal wav file will, you need software to play it, but what I do need to know is if this file is in sync or not, right now from reading through this it seems to be a 50-50 crap shoot, but now I am going to wash my hands of it, I talked to someone by PM and his friend has already started working on it just in case.

Jeez I can't even ask for help lol, I guess we should just stop sharing and doing some for ourselves for a while, yea right we like to share, that is what we do.

Thanks Everyone
