So is the Criterion PCM I provided in sync or not? if not I really need to know so I can either do it myself or see if anyone else wants to do it, also need to make this a regular PCM file there was no need for this to be a w64 file at all.

Thanks

ps. I would normally have just done this myself to begin with but we have so many projects going and a lot real close to being done that I just do not have time right now.

Sooooooo ..... you're thanking DoomBot for doing such good work on the sync and providing the finished file for all of those who have gotten it and not complained about the w64 file format?  Both of you helped folks out and you want to bite the hand .... at least your consistent.

This is why I no longer talk to you.

You are such a child Shawn it is not even funny, go seek your glory and resume not speaking to me lol, I actually was quite enjoying it, thanks.

last time i've talked about bit-perfect was direct capture with my mac.

but for the "are you sure" part regarding the m-audio fw 410: that's why i asked how to capture dts from a ld/cd. if that works, then it's bit-perfect. but there was no final answer to that question.

So you are not sure then, I will get the LD and do it on our end but thank you for the offer it is much appreciated.

We need the Criterion LD, if we can get that I will do the rip myself then, hell I just finished a bit accurate rip of the Halloween Criterion just today.

i have the cav ld. so that is covered :)

i now have a m-audio firewire 410 for audio capture.

And you are sure you are bit accurate? the last time we talked about this you were not or were not sure if you were, well with our projects we want to know for sure, so I will probably just pick this up from someone in the near future and do it myself.

Is there really a reason to include the Theatrical? just asking lol so please tell me why if so.

Also we do not need any Rules or sporv or whatever else those things are called for his project, we got color if needed well under control ourselves.

Forty or more incompletes is a lot, no doubt.
Though I suspect hiccups from my Internet service provider to blame, not the news service provider.
(A month from now I'll have new ISP so no worries.)

Something is not right somewhere, I would suspect Althor's news service provider? His posts don't seem to propagate well. I attempted to DL his finished version of the JSC ep4 about a month ago. I'm on astraweb and it was riddled with bad blocks even though it wasn't a very old post. I was unable to repair it with all pars, it wasn't even close. For comparison I was able to get Dark Jedis version of the JSC off astraweb which was a 3 year old post

The keyword in this post is Astraweb!! I have been with them for 10 years now but recently the service has been diabolical to the point of being useless. It is so bad that they stopped answering my emails about broken posts and simply do not seem to give a shit.

To get around this, I have signed up to another block download account and that has managed to get me out of many a hole and completed the downloads that Astraweb failed with. Once my Astraweb account runs dry, I will be binning it completely! The name of the other block account that I now have escapes me for the moment but can find out if anyone is interested.

Yes please find out, I was wondering if it was only me that thought Astraweb has been dropping the ball lately.

Thanks

so I really think the other Set is pretty much dead to me and this is v1 lol.

YOU'RE GEORGE LUCAS

lol it is just that much different, if you have the old compare to the new when it is released, believe me it truly is night and day different.

I do now kind of feel bad for ripping on my own projects lol, but anything DVD is pretty useless to me now anyways.

Sounds great dark_jedi! I will be capping this tonight and I am optimistic that the quality should look really nice. I will PM you after I get this done and we can work out the details on getting the file to you.

Great! I can't wait to hear from you, good luck!

1 question though, will it be 1080p or 1080i, obviously we can work with either one just curious is all.

Thanks again, and lets keep it PM now if you don't mind.

The DVD Set v3 was my 3rd attempt, this is our 2nd and final attempt at a Blu-ray Set, so that is why it is v2, but to be honest the method used on v1 Blu Set really is bad compared to this new Set so I really think the other Set is pretty much dead to me and this is v1 lol.

and yes You_Too is 100% correct, v3 DVD Set sucks compared to this Set we are doing now, everything involved in that DVD Set is just so outdated and it will show big time.

How to capture HDCP-encrypted HDMI sources (Vudu, Netflix, Directv, Virgin Media, etc.)

I believe Vudu works with programs like GetFLV/Tubedigger.  You won't have dropped frames using a program like that.

I don't know about netflix though.

Now this would be great, but I would have to buy the program and then buy the HDX video and hope it all works, wish there was a way to know for sure before all the spending, I already spend 1 hell of a lot on the projects we do lol.

dark_jedi don't give up hope just yet as I have just rented the HDX version (downloading now to my WD Live Hub). I will try capping it later tonight to my Hauppauge HD PVR. It does 1080i H-264 with a maximum bit-rate of  13.5Mbs which should be enough to capture the full quality of the HDX stream. It also will capture the Dolby Digital stream (5.1 or 2.0) as it has an optical in and my WD has an optical out. I will save the file to .ts so that You_Too  can better work with it and hopefully improve the image quality.

I saw that you could actually own it on PC now in HDX and was about to get it but didn't know how to use it once I got it lol, please let me know how this goes and if all goes well you have just gotten yourself a full completed package of this BD when finished!

Please PM me with the results so we can discuss this further and maybe some future titles if you want to work something out.

Thank you.

OK I have read through this and all this is very confusing and most all the links are dead because of linking to ebay, can you post links to an actual Store next time where items can be purchased or seen?

So we have a lot of projects lined up and some we still need good video for, namely Return of The Living Dead 2, I am not worried about audio because most of the titles we need for projects are only 2 channel anyways and we usually get the audio from the DVD or even the LD, in this case the LD, well I see Vudu has the HDX version available for PC download now, so how can I get this video? please if anyone knows how or can provide it to us we can make this project happen, someone was going to provide me with an how to video but he never came through, he said he does it through his PS3 somehow, but anyways any info on this would be a huge help to us and future cool projects.

Thanks
