I too would like to see the what X0 could have come up with,just to see how good it really will be,but IF GL does this set right,nothing we could do will even come close to what HE can do,i am sure HIS equipment is way better than anything any one here can afford,either way i cant wait for this September release,will X0 ANH be ready by then also?

this is all the excuse i need to shelf the Japanese Special Collection "Un-Subbed" edition,i have been working on for friggin weeks,i was doing 3 versions of each film,1 just cropped no filtering,1 cropped and filtered but Letterbox,and 1 cropped and filtered and made anamorphic Widescreen,got damn i am glad to see this come out,George will, I am sure do a FANTASTIC job on these,he has MUCH better equipment than ANY of us here.
its been fun,but i am glad they are coming out,fuck all this damn capturing and filtering LOL time for a much needed break,besides summer is coming,time for wieghtlifting,swimming and Harley riding.

I am sure FF will square things up with you,but there is alot of this kind of stuff going on,bad deals,people NOT sending things they say they will,etc.hell it has happened to me alot(NOT by FF LOL),but generally you figure out WHO you can deal with and WHO you shouldnt,but for the MOST part the people here are stand up guys.
also i was 1 of the guys you sent SUSPIRIA to,and it was in PERFECT working order and very fast delivery,so Matt_Stevens is a stand up guy.

I too have 2 DVD'r versions,1 widescreen(or LB)and Fullscreen versions,both with basic menu and the widescreen version has the trailer,not bad quality,but the point here was that DigitalFreakNYC,was going to capture the Japanese LD and author a new better set,correct me if i am wrong Digital.

hope this helps,i have it and love it,and like i said,when upgrades come out,all you do is download from website,burn image to CD,put in the player,and you have an upgraded player,just check out the link.

Digital,
that is exactly why I took Jay's advice and got the OPPO digital DVD player,i friggin love it,and when there are updates for it,all you do is go to the website,download the firmware,and burn the image to CD,throw it in your player and boom,all is updated to the current stuff,very nice multi-region player.

if you are looking for a LD player,why not get one of the Pioneer "ELITE" series players,like the CLD-79,CLD-95,or the CLD-99,hell even the CLD-52 isnt that bad and it will be cheaper than the other 3.
I have the CLD-79 and love it

well i have the clip rar'd it is 77.5 mb,but everytime i try to up it,my damn pc freezes up after a while,and i have to run repair on my local area connection,something is F'd up,i tried Megaupload,Rapidshare,and Yousendit,same prob on all 3,i have never had this problem before,i was always able to upload samples for you in the past(Moth3r).
i will keep the sample on my PC and try again later

maybe someones naked eye can see it clearly,but i am a honost guy and i didnt see anything,i mean it seems v2 runs smoother i guess,but maybe let an expert check it out,any particular scene you want moth3r? i can clip a little bit and send it your way.

I bet,but i still like to believe he isnt a replicant,but the DC sure makes it that he is,and i too like both,i just dont see why they would edit the viloence and the voice-over.

so these were the main things i was looking for:
* Batty kills Tyrell by pushing his thumbs in his eyes, which bleed copiously.
* Pris lifts Deckard up by his nostrils when she beats him up.
* Deckard shoots Pris a third time; there are also more shots of Pris kicking and screaming when she is shot by Deckard.
* Roy is shown while actually pushing the nail through his hand
* Deckard and Rachael are seen riding into the sunset
so these were deleted from the DC(above)
* Unicorn dream scene
this was the only scene added
and ofcourse the Harrison voice-over(which I personally think is very cool)
and as far as the workprint scenes go they are just to terrible(quality wise)to even consider adding in a project(i have the denver print,very crappy,but still cool)
and as far as Deckard being a replicant,NO FUCKING WAY !!!!!!!!!!!!LOL

since i only watched about 25-30 mins of v1,this is my take,the only thing that seemed to stand out was the fan blades in the room where leon was getting his test about not helping the turtle,they seemed to spin different,than in v2(but i might have just been seeing things LOL)but in all honosty,i have to admit "can you SEE a difference between my original release and this one?"not really,they both looked and sounded great,i guess if someone can see the difference with there naked eye,they must have telescopic/micrometer/bionic eyes,you wanted honosty and you will get it,that is my take,but i really appreciate you sending me this,thanks alot

I am half way through it now(version 2),i also watched about 30 mins of version 1 just to see the difference,and it looks great,damn good as a matter of fact,and was wondering what is wrong with the sound,it sounds pretty good to me,except it doesnt have the COOL narration,did you say that the DC LD has better sound,than what you have on this?

ps i have acquired the HD source files for Resident Evil Apocalypse(thanks Segaflip) would you be interested in putting that to DVD?
1 more thing,can you tell me the SPECIFIC differences between the DC and Criterion version of BR,I think i know what they all are but not sure,the only added scene in the DC was the Unicorn right?other than that it was all subtractions,gore,violence,happy ending, is this correct?

I use river Past Video Cleaner on all those damn Xvids,i just keep the same original framerate and aspect ratio and let it convert to normal avi using Huffyuv,and it converts audio to PCM 48 khz,DVD quality,i love this software,it has converted anything i have thrown at it so far(knock on wood)

well i just finished burning it and then i ran a CRC error check on it,and all is good,i will run both tomorrow after work it is close to 10 pm now and i have to get up at 4:30 am to go to work,but like i said,damn does it look great,sounds good too,and thanks for the reply on the author software.
too bad the original version cant be found in this quality(the Criterion)I still like the extra violence and the Harrison narration
