Now I am not totally happy with the opening titles and crawl yet,something is still a little off(like I mentioned in my PM)and also notice how the image moves around,you will see the edges during the video clip(like wobbling LOL)not sure what that is either,but other than that it is coming around,at least to me.

I have the 97 SE boxset(LOL obviously I am capping it again)but I can't rip the 5.1 or at least I do not think I can.

So the LD Special Edition Boxset is DD 5.1,I have looked all over my set and can't find that anywhere,I have optical out on my LD player and my sound card has optical in I am pretty sure,I have to look into this.

Is there any member here that has these for all 3 films,I am going to do a “Take 2” on this set along with the Japanese Special Collection but would really like to add in the better audio if possible.

well Robocop at normal price is definitely NOT worth buying,but at Walmart for only $10 it is ok.

This will let me use DVD Labs scene templates but with my own background,I will give it a shot.

nevermind LOL,neuron2 gave me the answer at Doom9,jeez I feel stupid,I knew the answer,I have it in my notes LOL,I must be losing my darn mind.

OK forget the cropping,I found a happy medium,but when I combine the parts my darn framerate changes from 23.976 by 1\2 to 11.988,why would this be happening?

OK I know how to manually IVTC video now(Thanks Moth3r)but I am seeing something else now I would like to do manually if it is possible,this is the start of my IVTC script:

Well the above crop is good until about half way through the avi file then it dramatically changes,so what I want to know is this,can I manually IVTC and manually crop at the same time,and if so how would this be added to the script?

this JSC set is going to be some work.

also 1 last question,once I have all the crop settings and IVTC settings how do I mash them altogether to get 1 avi file of the movie,or does this have to be done in chunks then put together?

I am at a stand still now until I can figure this out.

The Japanese Special Collection just looks really different from all the other versions,it seems brighter and colors are a little different,if you ever watched one of these you would see it is really different.

We are working on the post filtering right now,and so far it looks pretty promising(fingers crossed).

Looks damn good to me,and I totally LOVE the fact you did not use black as your base,way to many covers made here are way to draining of the black ink LOL.

Keep in mind to,once this Trilogy is done,I am onto the 97 Special Editions.

sorry,but just curious if we were going to have page after page of spechs and no samples is all,like I said,I mean no harm,I just want to see something.

Here are some new screens to look at,this file has ONLY been IVTC'd and cropped and resized to anamorphic widescreen,still NO post filtering yet,waiting until my partner has a chance to look it over.

I am also uploading an almost 7 minute clip in VIDEO_TS form complete with DD 2.0 ac3 audio @ 384,will add link to that when it finishes uploading.

Well I think that is enough for now,but to me the screens do not do it justice,it looks so much better in motion.

OK here are a couple of samples of the inside Bens Hut scene,1 is just the .m2v file,the other is a sample VOB file complete with audio,now NOTHING but IVTC was done,so NO cropping of any sort,the Japanese subs are there.

So see what you think and lets start pounding this baby out.

*remember these have no post processing at all,it is even still 4:3 LB.

@ g-force,1 thing though,when we start working on this it will be in avi form,not m2v,so would you want a sample avi file as well?

Not sure if there are any Charles Bronson fans here but I just finished up an HD2DVD of 1 of his movies that is not on DVD yet,it is "From Noon Till Three" very good and very funny movie for Mr. Bronson.

I don't know if any of you want this movie or not but Walmart has it for only $10 right now,I know we all read that it did not have the greatest transfer and all,but $10 is damn cheap,and it still looks a lot better than the DVD.

I think we should use this thread to let each other know of these great deals,Best Buy runs them all the time as well as Target and I am sure others.
