Aliens - 1986 Theatrical Cut.

I don't know why Cameron decided to put those scenes back in.  The Special Edition would be fucking perfect if everything else about it were the same, but the scenes with the colonists remained out.

Now that is an idea for a nice fan edit, wouldn't be all that hard either.

Star Wars OT & 1997 Special Edition - Various Projects Info (Released)
Time

I have just authored ESB v3 with all 4 audio options(Theatrical stereo mix, DD 5.1 mix, '85 home remix, '93 stereo mix) and audio on the static menu's along with a bonus and all fits fine.

now to test out SW v3, it won't have any bonus but will have static menu's with audio and this 1 will have 5 audio options.

also I want to thank sluggo for the menu images I am using, and ABC for the menu audio(I am taking the audio from his CD projects, ESB is from the "Audiophile" release).

Once I am certain everything fits and works, I will go to work on ROTJ's Theatrical and Home video stereo mixes.

OH, the bonus on the ESB DVD is the rare 1980 "Empire Hotline" recordings, all 5 are there, I wasn't going to put them on but I figure this will be a good way for me to preserve them so I don't lose them LOL.

Depending on the response, if any, from hairy_hen on his new ESB 5.1 mix he is doing, I am going to go ahead and author SW and ESB and get these 2 done for now, I will just go ahead and use the first ESB 5.1 mix from the previous versions, then I will get Jedi's Theatrical and Stereo remixes syn'd and have them ready for the video.

So any news on the "new" ESB mix or are we just going to use the previously made version? just curious because SW and ESB are pretty much ready to be authored now.

I know I already asked this but I will try 1 more time, any news on the above quote? it seems I keep getting ignored on this question, or I just have not seen your response to this.

Vegas audio sync help.

Vegas can handle six-track wav files as long as they are wav64 files.

But all you need to do is use something like Besweet to convert the 5.1 AC3 to 6 wav files and import them into vegas (making sure that your project audio is set to surround). then just assign a channel to each track

Thanks Ady, where do you set it to surround? and what audio should I use to sync to? just use one of the 5.1 upmixes from 1 of the broadcasts?

Vegas audio sync help.

Ady told me how to sync the stereo mixes in Vegas and to sync them to the GOUT audio, which I have figured out and have all done but Jedi at the moment, but now I need to know how to sync up the '97 SE LD DD 5.1 audio to the '97 SE broadcasts?

The stereo mixes were kind of easy, drop the GOUT audio into track 1 and then the LD audio into track 2 and start comparing, but how do you do 6 separate tracks? or is there a way to make a 6 track wav file instead of having all the separate tracks?

Just want to let everyone know this project is not dead, I am just waiting for files is all, I have the Theatrical Stereo mixes & the Stereo Remix(from the JSC set) done for SW and ESB(will do Jedi later), just waiting on h_h's new ESB mix(but I have his old mix ready to go if there is not going to be a new one) and g-force's new Jedi script, so in the meantime I am working on the '97 SE set.

and once these are done, I am NOT doing anymore DVD projects for Star Wars again LOL.

Info: 1997 SE DV Broadcast Info & Discussion
Time

I just had my external drive out and ALL files are still safe on there, I was worried for a bit LOL.

Well I like the broadcast versions of these files way better than the LD caps, so I have started working on my own '97 SE set like Max_Rebo, I should have all 4 versions of ANH converted to NTSC by tomorrow, and damn does the Flunk look good, definitely the base.

Flunk is already converted now to do the other 3.
