Just an update on things, I have ANH and ESB just about ready to encode(NTSC only versions), I am waiting on msycamores subs for ANH, and I also have the LD DD 5.1(Thanks DE) rips sync'd up for ANH & ESB.

max_rebo mentioned a few(17 I believe) bad frames in ESB, I did not see them, does anyone here know which ones he is talking about?

1 more thing, I did not sync up the '97 LD PCM audio for a DD 2.0 option, is this necessary? or is the LD DD 5.1 enough?

I'm surprised at just how many people say they hate Vegas, but when they bother to learn how it works they realise just how good it is and the power that this piece of software has. And the output results are far superior than software like powerdirector.

LOL, I was one of those people, but now I LOVE Vegas, really a great piece of software.

Yeh, i think the flunk release was PAL so you would need to convert it from 25fps to 23.976 first

I tried that and it did not work, I actually had to go in and change the pitch\time, when I used BeSweet and changed the fps, it still sounded like chipmunks, this was the first audio file I have ever seen like this, but once I slowed it down, it all fell into sync beautifully.

OK I got it I am pretty sure, side 1 is sync'd, but I am confused about something, I have the center in track 2 so I can line it up with Flunk track 1, and have the other 5 audio files grouped with the center and made sure the 2 options you mentioned were un ticked(which they were from all the other sync'ing I have been doing LOL) but when I try to mute track 1 now to listen to the 5.1 only they all mute, how can I set it so only track 1 mutes or vice versa?

also on the little diagram to the left in the track with the speaker placement, where is the LFE? I can tick on FR,FL,Center,SL,SR, but no LFE.

Thanks again for taking the time, you have been VERY helpful!

Thanks again Ady, I will give that a shot, but what a pain in the ARSE the Flunk audio was, I just could NOT get it to sync to the NTSC video, then I realized it was not a simple convert to 23.976 fix, this was the first time ever that I have come across a time pitched file, so once I corrected that, ALL fell into place, I am assuming that the Gkar and TB releases are the same, so now I have a 2.0 file to sync to.

Maybe I don't understand what you're doing then exactly, for anh for example, are you taking the flunk version and replacing the bad parts?

Yes that is what I have done, what I need help with is sync'ing the LD DD 5.1 audio to this new video file, with the GOUT project all I was using was LD 2.0 stereo mix audio and sync'ing to the GOUT audio which was also 2.0, so I had something to look at and line it up to in Vegas, now with this LD 5.1 audio I have nothing to sync to, or if there are gaps, what do I use for a filler.

Like I have said in the past, video is so much easier working with than audio, especially 5.1, so this is where I need help so I can get this project done.

Idea & Info Wanted: for Video Game Movie Edits
Time

Where can I find The Force Unleashed edit? this would be cool to watch with my little boy right before The Force Unleashed II comes out, although I think I would have captured the version from either the Xbox 360 or PS3, way better graphics.

If I had a DVD recorder I would try and make one for God OF War III first, I FRIGGIN love that game! Kratos rox!
