I feel like bringing the dialogue or whatever back in during the silent passages defeats the purpose of having an isolated score.

... Or even about a musical DVD, I agree.

Having English subtitles (as an option?) wouldn't be a bad idea - I usually turn them on when I listen to isolated scores anyway.

I'm beginning to feel this edit will be interesting enough to forget those details.

I agree.

dark_jedi, I'm pretty sure that I have the actual 2nd '93 ANH PCM audiofile that you seek in wav format, if you want me to upload it for you, let me know. The wave file is named: 01_DC48DVD & have a Moth3r.SFV file included.

If I remember correctly, it has suddenly very low dialogue when the tractor beam pulling the Falcon in to the Death Star, something that is not apparent on hairy_hen's recreation or Gout audio.

Yes I would like to get it and take a listen, because the file that was uploaded to the groups is completely useless to me, I can't do a damn thing with it, the sfv file ALWAYS comes up bad.

.wv files are WavPack files - a lossless audio compression format like FLAC. If you use WavPack to decode the file you'll end up with an uncompressed WAV.

This just will NOT decode for me at all, I have Windows 7 64 bit and every time I think I have it, the sfv files says it is bad, so looks like I will just stick with the old version, it is only the '93 audio anyways.

* edit, well I just tried foobar(latest beta version) and it seems to decode but the sfv says it is bad.

(That really bugs you that I poopooed your earlier ones doesn't it? )

Get over yourself dude, you don't mean anything to me, let alone bother me, just can't believe you are following this at all, and as you stated over and over, it was g-forces script, all I did was encode for everyone who did not, or could not encode one for themselves, just helping people out, which I have done for years and years.

Damn I am glad we have a friggin ignore button here.

OK if anyone is following this I have a sample for you to check out, it is of the ANH v3, the video is only a 1 pass with a low bit rate, I don't have DL DVD-RW's so I have to make a crappy video version to test the audio files, this sample has ALL 5 audio files for you to take a listen to, and here is the order they are in:

track 1 - '77 Mono
track 2 - '77 Theatrical
track 3 - '77 DD 5.1 upmix
track 4 - '85 Stereo remix (taken for Japanese Special Collection)
track 5 - '93 Stereo mix

No problem ABC, I am not one of those guys that cry when his thread goes off topic, it really does not bother me at all.

LOL now I have 3 projects going and not 1 of them done.

Hopefully the '97 Special Edition Trilogy will be done real soon though, but still waiting on material for the v3 GOUT project, so this will be fun.
