I have the PAL versions of the GOUT as well as the NTSC, I would really like to know what the differences are in Jedi also.
TV's Frink is good at looking up old threads, where is he when we need him LOL.

LOL his script is not V3, that is my versions of the encodes, his actual versions are a lot higher than that, v3 is pretty much used for the set I will release.
Just a small update LOL, I am watching my "new" version of ANH now, yes I made yet another one, keep finding things to make it better, and also re did the DD 5.1 audio yet again as well, if everything is good this time, this is final, also rendering another "new" version of ESB, and going to re do its DD 5.1 audio as well, so hopefully these 2 can be done and FINAL by the end of the week, because really there is not much more I can do with it now.
Also I got the final artworks for this set to, Thanks sluggo, very nice work! you guys will see the artwork when the movies start getting released.

For 1 thing, I do not have many DL DVDr's, still kind of expensive, and I would have to do tests before uploading(which could mean a wasted blank), if I had a shit ton of Verbatim DL's like I do Tayo Yudens I would definitely make DL versions instead, but I don't.
Since I have never seen this, and this project doesn't seem like it will be ready for a while, I think I am going to buy the Blu that comes out on the Sept. 7th.

This news is not about an out of region movie but just a heads up to all the Resident Evil fans here, Walmart has RE1-3 plus Degeneration available in Exclusive Walmart Steelbooks right now for $15 a piece, OH and did I mention it is Blu-ray, and the steelbooks are Blu-ray sized, not DVD.

We are just cropping off the black borders so we are filtering a clean image only, then resizing and adding back the appropriate size borders for 16:9 anamorphic video.
I will just stick to what g-force has, it works and it looks very DAMN good, I see no need to change anything really, keep up the great work g-force, looking forward to Jedi hopefully sometime soon.
As far as speed goes, it only takes overnight to render a lossless avi and only a couple hours to encode, so the speed is just fine to.

Hey the broadcast versions still have there flaws as well, they are not perfect by any means.
I will leave it for someone else.
I wish I was doing Jedi now because I would LOVE to compare screens with you, but I won't be on Jedi for about a week or more, I am just finishing up ANH and ESB, I was actually going to do what you are now but like I said above, I ditched the LD's for the Broadcast versions of the '97 SE's.
What scenes do you need? I will see what I can do, but I have a very busy weekend coming up, so might not be until early next week.

Also those images don't look to bad, but they do not look as good as the DVB versions, I really want to see what they will look like made 16:9 and in motion.
1 more thing, why in the world do you have the timer on there and the other digital versatile whatever on the bottom of the image? no one is going to steal your images, it would be a lot nicer to see these without all that mess, just my opinion.
A cleaned up GOUT is going to look a lot better than any LD LOL, that is why I ditched the LD capping and went to GOUT improving, but I agree on the color matching, I still think this would be an easy fix, just make up your DVD's and if you want me to help with the NTSC conversion I will add the right frames back in on those along with the 5.1.
Does anyone remember the movie The Howling? I just got my copy on Blu-ray from Australia, yet another old classic not released in the US.
Subs are fixed now per msycamores PM to me last night, I have them matched back up exactly the way they were now, rendering yet ANOTHER lossless avi of this again, now this will hopefully be final.
Are your LD's the same as the US LD's, if so there should be NO problem at all cutting right at the end of 1 scene and going right into the next, I to have the '97 SE Trilogy on LD(it is a big box set) and I have no problems butting the 2 right up to each other, video and audio.
can you post an sample of what you are doing with the side changes? something sounds a little strange to me, this should not even be an issue, unless the PAL set is really weirdly done.
If the main subs are right you really don't need me to make new video files do you? just adjust your drop shadow, I would like to render the lossless avi over night tonight.
