I have not compared the 2 but the Blu-ray is EXCELLENT!

The Blade Runner 5 Disc Blu-ray release was friggin sweet to, but see I kind of like a lot of the SE changes in Star Wars, and I grew up with the Theatrical, I watched them all with my best friend when we were kids several times(most of the time in the same day LOL)I admit some are very stupid but some are not, but this is my opinion only.

My preferred version would probably be the upcoming Blu release with the offensive SE stuff removed but keep the good, sounds like my next project.

Here is my Monday update, I am finishing up the 5.1 audio on ANH and ESB now, video is done and encoded, then while waiting on the subs from msycamore for Jedi I will start the 5.1 sync job for Jedi, so hopefully these will ALL be done by the end of the week, then on to GOUT V3, then all Star Wars projects are done and I can quit.

Well I sure am interested to see how this turns out for you guys, I have the Blu-ray now and I liked it, but I have never seen this version(Theatrical), so hopefully you guys do it up right.

Well I think vbangle is pretty cool, he was actually the first to donate some DL blanks(30 pack), he also had a request for his own personal set of the V3 and it is actually a damn good idea, I wish I would have thought of that, so I will also do my own personal set(the one that I will always watch) that way as well, plus do myself a copy of what I will release everyone else, well at least, most everyone.

Yes the ignore feature here is pretty cool until someone starts quoting the person you ignored, guess I have to start ignoring the quoters to.

Thanks for the info ABC, so all I need is the updated CD's right and artwork? then if I am reading correctly, you are going to work ALL this up complete with the DVD and re-release everything in 1 complete package? that is a good idea.

So what is in this definitive set? I am just curious what I am missing.

Well I do have the source, and if this is what is going to be used it will be used for the V3 Jedi, and it will be NTSC when finished.

Well this thread is about the V3 set I am going to work up, I will not color match this to some old ass bright looking print being shown through images on the net, if that is what he wants the answer is very simple, make your own.

Yes we do have a past, and I would like to keep it that way, I surely do not want a present or future with him, the ignore feature is cool here but I still see his name that he commented, and then others quote him, so I am still reading the shit.

and for the record, I have done NO altering of g-force's color settings, He said this script all works together, the only thing I did is add msycamores subs, Thanks dude!

LOL I should have said GKAR\TB video, obviously it is not all GKAR.

The GKAR English audio is just F'd up, so I matched the GKAR video to the TB and now I am going to use the TB audio to sync the 5.1 to the GKAR video, I know it is kind of cunfusing.

I agree, and I finally got my audio woes figured out so GKAR is definitely going to be the base for this one.

OK Here is what I am dealing with in case anyone wants to see, give me your ideas now before I render the final lossless avi.

Those don't look bad, but they almost look to bright, I will try to grab some of the images and do some comparison shots.

To bad they don't have all those film grabs in 1 rar file.

Thanks man, I was hoping there was a simple command like delete(whatever) and go, I am familiar with trim, that is actually what I ended up using, but I am not sure what you mean here,

and for info of video, I just wanted to name each so I knew which was which, like TB source Jedi, GKAR source Jedi, I needed to compare the 2 for frames and such for audio sync'ing, so I just added a subtitle line to the script and had those subs throughout the entire video in the upper right corner, very helpful when comparing.

Here is an update on things, I have hairy_hens new ESB 5.1 mix now, after I finish '97 SE Jedi v2 I will get back to these, it should not take to long to finish up SW and ESB, then hopefully by then we will have h_h's new and improved Jedi 5.1 and g-force's Jedi script.

g-force I know I asked you this a while back but I was wondering are you making any headway on the Jedi script or are you running into issues? I am curious to know if we might be able to get this bad boy set out by the Holidays is all, I am still currently working on the '97 SE v2 set now and probably have at least a couple weeks left before these are done, then I will have all my time on the v3 SW and ESB, then onto Jedi when ready.
