My laptop just decided to die and corrupt the hard drive with it. It was relatively cheap, so I’m not too upset, but I’m never getting back those files.
Always a good idea to back up the important files at least once a week or save them to an SD card or USB stick.
Or just memorize them. They say the brain has the equivalent of between 1 terrabyte and 2.5 petabytes of storage.
