I say it all the time too.
I say it all the time too.
I didn’t like that
I must have ESP because I knew that without even clicking on it.
I’m a solid 8.
Hah!
I preview my post prior to posting
Sure you do
And those are all male right? And that’s for some reason important even though it’s a different physical body every time?
I never saw their naughty bits, so I am not sure.
I agree, you can’t police the entire world for the benefit of one person. but i still disagree with your original take that ‘reality’ is something that should be embraced. the answer of course is somewhere in-between (probably close to the raw truth side, but still).
we all need protecting from reality. reality is a void that will eat you alive. the idea that ‘reality’ isn’t something you need protecting against flies against the basic tenets of biology.
genres are used to provide a classification for a movie, so in my mind they are fluid.
For example.
if you are trying to decide what part of a product catalog to list it in, you will be using one set of criteria, and will probably list it as Sci Fi
if you are talking to a friend and comparing Star Wars to any other sci-fi movie, you are then more likely to reach for more descriptive, specific genres, and will say that Star wars is more of a Space Fantasy than your typical sci-fi story.
I think this one is pretty close to the original real colors.
Anyway, I found a coloring book from 1977 (I was three) and it looks like this:
ALLOL
Ah yes if they aren’t GOUT synced it would make what you’re doing practically impossible.
now I wonder what a video would look like if you alternated every couple of frames instead of every shot cut. Our brains are quite forgiving of drastic changes at cuts.
Very interesting idea although the space shots are almost indistinguishable hahaha. The second half of Luke meeting Obi-Wan is pretty cool.
I think if there are some more low quality sources mixed in like 8 and 16 mm then it could really sell the differences in the space shots as well.
JEDIT I just noticed that you do list 8 mm.
Oceans 8
It was fine but very much felt like the fourth movie of its kind and not terribly original.
Mission Impossible: Fallout
Like all Mission Impossible movies this has a very fast driving plot which is probably overly intricate and confusing but let’s be honest as long as I keep being entertained I don’t care too much about what’s happening when or why. It was good but not great. the main thing against it in my book is that I’m a little tired of Ethan Hunt and his savior complex. Or is it Tom Cruise that has the Savior complex?
Warbler the thing I don’t understand is if there is ever a series the television anywhere in the whole world where it made sense for the main character to change from a man to a woman it is Doctor Who.
and they have obviously hinted at the fact that this could happen many many times throughout the series so I don’t really think you have any legs to stand on with your complaint other than the fact that you just don’t like change.
What I would preferred instead is having a new spinoff series where the lead is a female timelord(I think in the old show they referred to them as timeladies).
OMG. Get over it already.
You realize he was just parodying you when you say you aren’t going to engage with insert poster right?
Also I must admit my understanding of DW is very limited, but HAS it always been a male? I thought it was kinda like a trill. Sure it always HAS been a male, but does it HAVE to be? I mean it’s not like Luke was suddenly a woman in the ST or anything, doesn’t the very gimmick of the series enable the doctor to be a woman sometimes?
The Doctor turned into a woman in The Curse Of The Fatal Death, which was a one off comedy special that aired during a charity telethon in the 1990’s. Coincidentally, that was written by Steven Moffat, who worked on the new version of the show until recently.
Non-canon as far as I know.
Yes, I’m just saying the idea has been around a while. If you count the Peter Cushing Dalek movies, the 1970’s stage play, and an animated web series, there are a lot of non-canon Doctors floating around.

And here I figured Jay had you under an exclusive contact.
what i meant was people are just acting normally, not being excessively mean or hating you.
doesn’t seem that way to me.
Ok you got us. We admit to everything.
I haven’t always made good decisions.
If developers are threatening to remove code from the kernel because of they feel offended by a new code of conduct then they are definitely man babies and quite frankly I don’t give a shit.
I do agree that retroactive policing can be troublesome. But on the flip side being an a******and getting away with it and doesn’t give you a free pass for the rest of your life either.
Hopefully cooler heads prevail and people use common sense when enforcing the policy. No need to get all bent out of shape.
It also looks like something I would have created.
Those are both bad things.
Man you have children
I spent more than 10 seconds on that though.
As ling as the deed was accomplished…
I shall turn my evil efforts elsewhere I suppose. (Looks aroumd the place)
Yeah, good luck. At the end of the day, you need to make your own choices, especially when it comes to relationships. People on the internet don’t know the reality of your situation.
3 lunches of snow again today.
WIR
Jay, what trouble in Linux land are you alluding too.
I read about linus’ stepping away to work on his acerbic leadership style, but it seems like you are saying he was better that way? That sometimes to be great we need to be verbally abussive? Or put another way, that being verbally abussive is fine as long as you are great?
But you say that there is trouble brewing…
Also, anyone who called Sandy Hook a hoax and did all the shit Alex Jones did is a complete price of shit and shouldn’t be waived off like you just did. Seriously.
