What Have You Been Eating?

I’ve been making stir fry for dinner alot lately. It’s so efficient. Cheap, healthy, delicious. I use broccoli, carrots, chow mein noodles, snow peas, baby corn, water chestnuts, bell peppers, white onions, red peppers, and chicken and beef. (Some of it is blended in one package because I use frozen vegetables. I know I’m a cheater but I still season and sauté it myself). I season with ginger powder, garlic, (if I didn’t use white onions in the fry then I’ll add onion powder also), lots of red pepper because possessed likes spice, then top it off with reduced sodium soy sauce. It makes me feel like captain of the squad.

I can forgive everything up until the low sodium soy sauce. I have bought that stuff in the past and just do not enjoy it.

I figure if I cut out my spoonful of salt at lunch then I can do the full-blown soy sauce.

I have no idea if Gorsuch did something inappropriate in high school.

I’m sure he did do something inappriopriate…

What makes you so certain? Had there been some sort of accusation made against him that I don’t know about?

I’m pretty sure catbus just means he’s a human and practically any human I’ve ever met has done something inappropriate in high school.

What could anyone gain from putting their life and that of their family in jeopardy on a false accusation? Ford is going to be watching her back possibly the rest of her life. The world is full of crazies who hold grudges, unfortunately.

We’re probably seeing the last generation where some sort of tangible evidence of one’s unsavory past is hard to come by. Future politicians and would be nominees are going to have their digital and social media skeletons to deal with. But the internet seldom forgets.

This

Everyone crying about how kav’s reputation has been hurt seem to not understand how Ford is affected. Death threats are just the start. People love to blame the woman, and worry about the man’s reputation.

Can’t return an open movie for your money back for copyright reasons. If it’s defective they’ll let you exchange it for a different disc. To stop people from buying it and ripping it amd returning it. Same way for games.

Although if you’re really nice about it you MAY be able to talk them into letting you exchange it for a version with the digital copy. MAYBE.

the nice part is what i was alluding to.

i remember i convinced walmart to let me return the LOTR dvd i bought years ago becuase i didn’t pay attention and grabbed the fullscreen version. they let me exchange it for the widescreen. i can’t remember if i had opened it, but i think i did…

Star Wars: a series famously without any retcons before Disney took over.

OK, just to burst you bubble (Unless that was sarcasm, in which case I apologize but its hard to tell from text) but I’m sure you recall the Special editions came out before Disney. Also The Emperor anyone? Like between ESB and ROFJ he got a hell of a make over.

it was sarcasm, i assure you.

The code doesn’t work on Vudu or Moviesanywhere. The packaging just says “blu-ray” at the top, not “blu-ray + dvd + digital” or “blu-ray + digital” like they usually do. And it seems that’s all it is. There’s no dvd copy in the box and seemingly no digital copy either. Kinda lame, but I guess I should’ve paid more attention. I don’t use digital copies as my primary means anyway (there’s a reason I still buy discs…) but I do travel a lot for work, so having a digital library is a nice bonus.

Googling some more, it seems I got the Walmart exclusive version. But I’ve not yet found any info about what’s exclusive about it. But yeah, it doesn’t seem to come with a digital copy b/Catherine regular BD (with the same cover art) has “blu-ray + digital” across the top of the package.

I’m still gonna pursue the Vudu/Walmart connection b/c I know they used to advertise that any disc you bought at Wally World came with a Vudu copy too.

JEDIT

Found my answer in the Blu-ray.com forums. I got ripped off. The Walmart exclusive is the regular BD, but without a digital or dvd copy. And yet it COSTS THE SAME. I feel like such a sucker.

Oh well, digital copies aren’t that important to me. But it sucks to get less for the same price.

you can try returning it… might work

I’m not convinced the Linux COC thing as anything more than just noise at this point. I searched after you brought it up J and found several messages from the same guy on the Linux kernel mailing list trying to incite people to remove their code but I didn’t see anyone agreeing with him.

And if you think it through it’s a fairly stupid position to try to take. If they remove their code I don’t think they’re hurting anyone other than themselves because I’m not sure any company was is going to want to hire a person like that to write code for the kernel.

Most of the code these days is written by companies anyway so the individual Kotor making a self-important stand is somewhat unimpressive.

There are lots of capable kernel hackers out there.

I said wait and see if anything actually happens before you claim the sky is falling.

There’s always bsd.
