We have Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday Unrated finished and available at BT!, we have fixed these 3 bad frames from our source, thanks to dlbsyst for catching the 3rd one, look at Kane Hodders name, and a huge thanks to crampedmisfit1990 for his dedication to help us by scouring the internet and his local stores for BD's that have the original "New Line" Intro/Outro, so we went ahead and fixed that as well, I also went ahead and bumped the bit rate up a tad to fill more disc space.

Click on the links to see the glitches fixed.

Terminator 1 & 2 Projects (Released)
Time

To get back on topic, I still need to actually put both Terminator films from TeamBlu on a couple BDs. I've been holding off because I don't happen to have any printable BD-50s. I have been watching them from my pc so far. Does anyone know if they make the silver top BD-50s that you can silk screen print? Haven't seen them.

Heads up! I'll be seeing ALIENS on August 1 in 70mm! Anything I should pay attention for? I'm happy to help when possible.

Where the hell do you live?! I mean, you get to see all kinds of awesome movies in original film form! hahaha Wish I could. The theaters around me suck!

The Alamo Drafthouse is an awesome local theater chain that gets a hold of original film prints and shows them very often. They have expanded nationally in the USA but are still pretty small. The one in Austin, Texas called "The Ritz" is famous for showing a lot of films in their original formats. That location only has 2 screens but they're constantly showing good classic movies and they have plush VIP service and reclining balcony seating. It is awesome! Alien and Aliens are 2 of my all-time favorites so I am very hyped for this.

You're lucky. If theaters around me would show these kinds of movies all the time, I'd probably go broke fast! haha

Alien and Aliens are also among some of my favorite films too. Classic.

Which Alien film do you like better overall?

I stumbled upon this thread while searching the interwebs for this exact issue!

I notice that some episodes of Season 2 of Masters of the Universe (Mill Creek release) are badly aliased and display noticeable judder in panning scenes.  Some episodes are fine however!

I wonder, does anyone have the PAL releases of these and know if they are they any better?

I specifically bought the NTSC releases because I thought they'd be the same frame rate and resolution that the original episodes were created in, but it seems that that's not necessarily the case!

Also, in reference to the Transformers series, I've made it a labour of love ripping and re-encoding Shout Factory's NTSC release using Handbreak to greatly improve the image quality over the source.  I'm Happy to share the settings I used if anyone's interested.  It's not as good as Firebrandx's rip but he said he did this manually frame by frame and I don't have that kind of patience ;)

I too noticed that season 2 of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe was very bad looking, season 1 looks pretty good, but season 2... forget about it! I also would be interested to see if the PAL version is better looking, I was wondering the other day about it.

dark_jedi, would you be interested in fixing the intro to JGTH? The one used on your custom BD is a different replacement version and has the time warner logo. I have the correct (old school) intro in HD. I would be glad to get it to you. It is hard to find in HD and I just happen to have a BD with it. You could easily re-insert it with the DVD as reference, as the DVD has it's original intro. I hate replacement intros and I always fix them on my projects. It seems a darn shame to have this wonderful BD with the incorrect intro... it would be very quick and easy to fix, well worth the small amount of time.  If you want it, just let me know.

I can't promise anything but if we could fix it now would be the time so if you could upload it somewhere and PM the link that would be great, again I cannot promise anything but as I said if we do now would be a good time to see if we can or not since I have to re render it anyways.

Alright, I hope you guys can do it. I am uploading it right now.

EDIT: I sent the link. I also wanted to mention that on TeamBlu's BD, the original outro is changed as well and it can easily be fixed with the intro I sent you. The intro and outro look exactly the same, they are just a tad different in length, most of the beginning will need cut off, if I'm remembering right. I think you'll just have to trim it down a tad. You'll see once you download the intro I sent. Looking forward to this BD. Keep up the top-notch work.

With this being a marquee year for BTTF, it seems like we're missing the one opportunity for Universal to do a remaster.  If they won't do it for 2015, then when will they?  4K really has to take off for it to happen now.

Not only that, but Universal should remaster the BTTF trilogy in 4k (do it right) to be a launch boxset for the new 4k format too, when the discs start releasing later this year. That would make a ton of people come over to the new format alone.

So your saying there nothing we can do at all really no petitions etc.

Petitions are probably useless against Universal, they just don't care. They are starting to do BD well lately though. Breakfast Club and Duel are ones that I bought recently and they look fantastic! No issues. So, maybe Universal will have a nice non dnr and edge enhancement version of the BTTF trilogy this year. Who knows...
