What a beautiful rendering of Leia. Wonder why she’s crying though… maybe she just realized she forgot Chewie’s medal?

The meaning is the same here (Canada)… that’s the joke (A new hope Revisited Special Edition).
I am willing to overlook the Mon Mothma break in continuity.
Why do you see Mon Mothma’s presence on Yavin 4 as a continuity issue? Maybe she gets evacuated to another location for safety when it becomes clear the Death Star is on its way.
I’m just sad that instead of doing something new they’re re-using stuff which they know will bring an audience. It’s pretty lazy.
I can understand this sentiment being applied to TFA (where recycling ship designs, characters, and imagery 30 years after the events of OT could be seen as straining credibility), but given that this film is set shortly/immediately before ANH, I wouldn’t expect to see anything “new” in terms of vehicles, technology, etc.
And BTW I am a minority here but I honestly hope there will be no Vader in this movie or any of the main OT characters
I’m on the fence about this. For safety’s sake, I’d be happy if Vader didn’t show up (they mucked up his character enough in the PT), but if it was handled well, it could be a cool inclusion.
Has there been any information leaked on Diego Luna’s character? I liked the notion that he might be playing Biggs Darklighter; I’m not one for universe shrinking, but I think this would be a fitting way to see more of the character who, based on the deleted ANH footage and the radio drama, seemed pretty cool.
You should try to watch good movies.
You use the term “good” as though it is quantifiable. Cool if you don’t like the teaser ─ I wasn’t particularly jazzed about TFA’s trailer while everyone else seemed to really like it; to each his own. However, I fail to see the point behind your continued posts in which you express your dislike for the teaser. What’s your goal: to convince others who do like it that they’re wrong to like it? To let everyone know you don’t like it? If the former, it’s a pointless exercise, so why bother? If the latter, mission accomplished, so no need to keep belabouring the point.
Personally, I’m quite pleased at what I’m seeing ─ Rogue One is hitting all the right notes for me.
This is the teaser I was looking for.
Thanks for the update Ady. It’s very cool to hear that we’ll be able to enjoy ESB:R in the near future. Best of luck to you in the home stretch.
As an aside, I’d love to hear the details on what went into incorporating your Han in carbonite into the existing film. As was already mentioned, the effect is seamless… great work.
This pain runs deep. Let us explore it …together. …Each man hides a secret pain. It must be exposed and reckoned with. It must be dragged from the darkness and forced into the light. Share your pain. …Share your pain with me and gain strength from it.
Release this pain. Release it! …This pain has poisoned your soul for a long time. Now you’ve taken the first step. The other steps we’ll take together.
Dammit, Mavimao, you’re an OT.com member. You know that pain and guilt can’t be taken away with the wave of a magic wand. They’re things we carry with us that make us who we are. If we lose them, we lose ourselves. We don’t want our pain taken away. We need our pain! 😉
That’s Snow laughing matter.
Wow, that Han in carbonite is looking amazing.
Star Wars has been synonymous with "Hollywood blockbuster" since 1977. What else would one want it to look like?

Well they seem very keen on teasing
Hence why these are called "teasers."
Whether it's a teaser or a full length trailer, the goal should be the same: communicate to viewers the overall vibe of the movie, and instill a desire to see the film, without actually divulging any plot details which might otherwise ruin the actual filmgoing experience.
Based on that criteria, I'd say the trailers we've seen to date have been successful.
That looks like a hot sweat to me.
Glad to hear things went well with the surgery poita. Hope you start feeling better soon.
The clip of Luke and Ben in the canyon looks terrific. The brightness, skin tones... everything looks natural. Great work! Thanks for sharing these recent clips.
I watched the clip a couple times today. I was very impressed with the overall quality. As others mentioned, the image seems like it could stand to be a bit brighter, but that's really just a nitpick. It's exciting seeing this project progress.
Glad to hear from you poita. Has a date been set for your second surgery? And those scans look amazing.
Get well soon poita.
14 days of no posts... that must have been a record for this thread.
Looks great Ady! The new background and spider have been inserted seemlessly—a true testament to the skill of the Revisited team. Thanks for sharing.

Do you realize all the other threads display them on the first page?
Do you realize this is completely untrue and against forum rules? http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/Notes-on-Piracy-Please-Read/forum/17/topic/13347/
I'm with you Mike—wolfman is one of my favourite cantina aliens too. It's nice to see him looking so good.
I really enjoyed that last video Mike. It's awesome to see such an improvement on such a notoriously problematic shot. My hat's off to you for not only being able to ameliorate the shot as much as you did, but for sticking to the spirit of this project and avoiding the temptation of incorporating the blu-ray's footage. With the various preservation and restoration projects on this site, and their varying use of source material, it's good to know this project will remain 100% sourced from original elements.
I just checked the forum for the first time in a few days, and I see I missed the big news. Congratulations on your new job Harmy!
