Good audio editing there Frink. The only thing I can think of adding would be during the shot of Yoda saying, "An apprentice you have, Quigon. Impossible to take on a second"-- you could have Nute Gunray's head pop into frame and say, "Now there are two of them."

I disagree with Bingo that a history of repression needs to be present in order for racism/speciesism to occur, however I still don't believe Leia's "walking carpet" comment denotes an incidence of either on her part.
For example, what if Han had been the one walking in front of Leia and she had said, "Would somebody get this self-righteous dolt out of my way?" Or what if Luke had been the one blocking her and she had said, "Would somebody get this undersized pipsqueak out of my way?" Such comments, while rude and insensitive, are not racist, nor would they be interpreted as an attack on anyone who is unintelligent or short. Rather, they are personal attacks on the individual. The "walking carpet" comment, then, should not be seen as a speciesist comment on the entire Wookie race, but rather as an affront towards Chewbacca alone.

It was okay while "Sith" was being bleeped, but then when seemingly random words got bleeped, it just got, well... ridiculous.
Personally, I think just Sam Jackson should get the bleep treatment. The scene could possibly also benefit from some good, ol' fashioned dialogue swapping for everyone (particularly for Sam Jackson, if you can work in some of his profanity from other movies... bleeped out, of course).

It really amazes me the misplaced sense of entitlement some people have. On top of Adywan GIVING us these edits after all HIS hard work, this guy has the nerve to demand a release date? In spite of what's going on with Ady's father?
This person would do well to remember that these are YOUR edits Ady, and the fact that you're willing to keep us updated on their progress and share the end results at all is something he should be grateful for.

By blur, are you referring to the uppermost portion of the text as it recedes? If so, I wasn't even aware that it should become blurred.
I'm seeing the same strobing/smearing (looks like fingerprints, actually) in both VLC and Windows Media Player (right click for largeness):
Weird that the problem pops up here but is absent at Ady's end.
At any rate, the crawl looks really good... "sharp and clean" as Captain Antilles put it. But I also agree with Harmy that the fade at the top of the crawl might be better if it were more gradual (e.g., if you look at my last screen cap, I'm not sure that we should still be seeing "THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK" text up at the top by that point). I'm not sure, though... maybe a more pronounced fade wouldn't look good. I guess I'd have to see it before forming an opinion.
Lastly, should the text completely disappear earlier than it does? Around the 1:28 to 1:30 mark, I was expecting the text to disappear but it lingered a bit longer than I think I'm used to. Maybe I'm just used to seeing certain things at particular moments according to the music.
The entire thing is amazing -- from the skin's texture and colour to the glossiness of the eyes. I wonder how long that took.
d_j, any chance you'd consider sharing a brief clip from the 720p set while waiting on those menus? I know you said the audio was the big thing on the blu's, but I'm dying to see how these 720p versions look, and knowing that they're sitting on your computer just waiting is driving me nuts :)
