Towne, when you were talking about the 1997 files did you mean to say you’re creating an update to the Respecialized '97 Edition based on your 2.6/7 Edition? I usually lurk these threads a couple of times a day to stay abreast of things but I haven’t checked them since I went out of town this weekend.
All of these mixes are included in the Despecialized Edition for all three films.

Why do some of the screenshots have black bars with this color to them?

I wasn’t planning on it originally, but I knew it would bother me if I didn’t, so I regraded the entirety of the Battle of Yavin sequence to drastically reduce the over-cyan tint on Despecialized. I love the tech colors, until they start to be distracting and take me out of the film, which those overemphasized cyans in the climax of the film definitely do. A few of these shots were regraded using videos posted by Mike Verta as reference, and surrounding footage was graded to match. Most of it is nothing crazy, just reducing the cyan color shift and making the image look more natural.
Are you using 2.6 as the base?
Who has poita designated to work on them?
So is ESB Sanitized still being worked on?
So what are the big changes in store for ESB v2.5?
Count me in.
I’m definitely leaning toward v2 of that frame. I checked it against the Silver Screen Edition and they match pretty well. Of course, those are Eastman colors and not strictly Technicolor.

I honestly wouldn’t miss the 2011 versions of them. It’s officially available so there’s not much of a need to include it.
It’ll suck not having that beautiful Tech print on my hard drive…

I’ve always wondered how the 1997/2004 version will be presented on a single disc. I would have expected a 2004/2011 split disc since they are similar in color grading.
Can you write up a full manifest for the three discs besides the surprise?
I don’t remember anyone ever GOUT syncing the ESB Grindhouse.
