Seconded.

Exit-U2
Even the second side of Joshua Tree breathes new life with a subwoofer!
Same here. I always lose the LP on ebay. Come to think of it, that moody and dark Barry sound also pops up in OHMSS..hmm no wonder I like it so much..
I'd join in old Obi-Wan's damn fool idealistic crusade.
I never really played with toys in front of a tv. I liked to make up my own stories and do crazy things with action figures. Oh the many things I did to that poor Tamtel Skreej Lando and Emperor Palpatine...that's probably where my random Palpy quotations stem from.
The question now becomes what to do with your SW toy collection...and yes sometimes one simply must pick up more...still looking for that bloody electronic POTFII snowspeeder...and there's a brand new Target exclusive one that is sooo tempting...
Because two full sized electronic toy Millennium Falcons are not enough! ;)
Herr Stamper....likes to stamp...things...
ot.com is never down.
We are down.

Just finished Beatles: Rock Band and was pleasantly surprised how much I actually enjoyed it. Slightly different timing scheme than RB2 though. Grrr.
Did you calibrate both of them? Or did you mean something else?
It's calibrated properly, but I just noticed a slight difference between games. This probably carried over to RB3.
For a while Rid was supposed to do a BR sequel/prequel but that fell through. I really hope this doesn't come to pass because it will just be set in the universe using some reference points and making all BR fans enraged.
Did find both Jeter book sequels a few years ago but simply couldn't get through them. Very out there.
Why is it that I always return to The Ipcress File score? It's essentially the same theme over and over-yet brilliantly moody.
The Fearless Vampire Killers or: Pardon Me, But Your Teeth Are In My Neck
How long are we supposed to keep these?
Really groaning and wincing....but here's five that I couldn't live without seeing again:
1. James Bond 1-15 (yes I know, but I can't simply choose one)
2. Dr. Strangelove
3. Vertigo
4. Lawrence of Arabia
5. SW Trilogy
still working on that list... ;)
The Unforgettable Fire-U2.
Probably will play NLOTH again..
Ah. Just was curious since you mentioned you had a D504. I used a DV capture codec in Final Cut and got this:
Thanks for the help and suggestions guys.
FF-was this the player you used for your original Criterion Bond transfers?
My actual player is a CLD-D702, but it's back home and I didn't want to risk damaging it by shipping it several states. (and paying at least $30 in shipping)
The D504 was the best one I could get that actually worked. It's borrowed from someone who doesn't use it that much so I can't really do any modification work to it. I've started capturing with the analog enabled for a test. The analog and digital sound virtually the same going through RCA anyway.
My test disc is the 1989 series LBX You Only Live Twice.

Godfather time:
I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse.
Go to the matresses.
Don't ask me about my business... Never ask me about my business.
Leave the gun, take the cannoli.
I believe in America.
Bonasera, Bonasera. What have I ever done to make you treat me so disrespectfully?
Someday, and that day may never come, I'll call upon you to do a service for me.
That's a true story. That's my family, Kay, it's not me.
You can act like a man!
Never tell anybody outside the family what you're thinking again.
It's a Sicilian message. It means Luca Brasi sleeps with the fishes.
But if Clemenza can figure a way to have a weapon planted there for me, then I'll kill 'em both.
Hey, whatcha gonna do, nice college boy, eh? Didn't want to get mixed up in the Family business, huh? Now you wanna gun down a police captain 'cause he slapped ya in the face? Hah? What do you think this is? The Army, where you shoot 'em a mile away? You've gotta get up close like this and bada-bing, you blow their brains all over your nice Ivy League suit! Come here!
You're taking this very personal. Tom, this is business and this man is taking it very personal.
It's not personal, Sonny. It's strictly business.
How did things ever get so far?
But don't ever take sides with anyone against the Family again. Ever.
We'll get there, Pop. We'll get there.
This one time I'll let you ask me about my affairs.
You're out, Tom.
I have to go to the bathroom.
Look how they massacred my boy.
Fabrizzio, where are you going?
We don't discuss business at the table.

Those scenes were the only immediate emotional content of the movie. They get the audience completely on the side of the characters and are essential.
Unnecessary cash grab.
The d504 doesn't have S/PDIF. It only has an AC3 out.

I really like Mara Jade.
:)
She was nearly put in Episode III, but again GL decided against it. Which, really, is prlly a good idea
Is there anything he won't exploit?
Harmy's ROTJ Theatrical Reconstruction. Yes!
