Hehe, my edit will come out. I just keep finding flaws in all the footage I've looked at so far. So I keep trying to find a way to get a better source. Three nights ago. I think I found that perfect source. So my edit will be back into play very soon.

It was bad roto. I'll be fixing that. I did a new render of that clip without the color changes to the walls. For some reason, on the second render that roto got sloppy at that section. I'll make sure to get spence a cleaner version. I also think I'll have the DS stand out alittle more.
Ok frink, just some different options for the Jedi duel. Nothing ground breaking audio and cut wise. Just basic layouts.

Im pretty sure Ady said he wouldnt post any more preview clips, after the whole Emperor clip got tossed on it's head for a few pages.

Well hell, with alittle more work this shot could be useable, since it happens early in the conversation. It could make sense that the Death Star is later made its way toward the fleet. I like this also because now when Luke looks like he's staring into space, it now has the feeling like he's reacting to the Death Star floating passed. Sort of a "OMG, is that thing operational?"
So heres that clip, granted it still needs alot of tweeks. I would also have to add it in the background of the second shot of the Emperor.
Well I was gonna go this route, started it, but what a pain in the arse in motion.
First shot for Spence to look over, so I can get an Idea if he wants anything altered. Before I move on to the rest of the shots.
I can darken it a bit more, maybe add alittle more blur to give it a more distant feeling. Bigger, smaller? Let me know what you think.

Added some mild sound FX and Replaced the protocol droid's voice with the Voice of Hk-47 of "The Knights of the Old Republic" game. Been wanting to do this for like 2 years, and never had the reason...... till now 8)
Just watched the Anakin being tested clip and had an idea. I would say extend the amount of images he gets tested on by using that same shot over and over. But replace the images on the video screen to help along with some of Anakins guesses.
And of course when he makes the guess of ship, have the video screen show a picture of a charlie's angels picture. Or maybe a picture of Farrah Fawcett.
If you wanted I could do the shots replacing the screen images. You could just send me the Images you wanted on the screen.
About a week ago in the Prequel Radical Redux thread the idea came up of trying to make more real looking Clone troopers came up. I had an idea that no one mentioned about that. Adding OT Storm Troopers into the mix. Please keep in mind that this was done in about a hour, and is in no way anything spectacular. Just trying things out. Thoughts?

No worries if you think the idea sucks. But I'm all for testing stuff out. If I spent more time on getting the color tones rightsand making better masks I'm sure it could look more respectable.

I was already working on changing this scene to make it appear that the clones and Sidious were already in league with each other long ago.
Having Cody right away say "Yes, my Lord" when he sees the holo, and then "Yes sir, right away" helps a ton to show there relationship.
Ill try your idea of using the commander audio from ROTJ and see how that works with the parts I've changed. That could really put this little clip over the top as being something alot better than what was originally there.
Oh yeah Buddha, cutting the dreams has been talked about. But I've decided to keep them with added lines from Obi, making it look more possible that the Jedi might not be as nice as Anakin has been lead to think. Helping Anakins turn against them.

The masking done so far is very bad. Added some smoke to help cover it up. That will be perfected later.
This is a further attempt to help GG come along more as a Darker bad guy thru his surroundings. Dark and gloomy over bright and Neon.

hehe right now I'm banging my head up against a wall. Pondering if I should wait for the Bluray release of the movies. The more special effect work I do, the more small problems I'm finding with blocky footage and the like.
Its a pain tho to get the sounds cause you have to extract them one by one. Just a heads up.
So unless someone was really dedicated, a complete download of just the sounds is highly unlikely

The video game Star Wars Republic commando comes with an amazing amount of sound effects. I used a ton in the Reign of the Darkside work. But since updating to windows 7, I cant install the program used to get the sound files. Which leaves me totaly screwed since I restarted work on it after my Hard drive crash a few months ago.
Directions on how to extract sound files from the game are posted on this page about half way down. If this is something you'd be interested in.
The amount of odd sound effects (like ships and background noise) is staggering.
