Has anybody preserved the widescreen version of this movie from DVD or an HD source yet? The so-called Widescreen DVD is just a cropped down 4:3 version from my understanding.

We did do a version of the SE, it was Widescreen however and DJ did do a FS set but I don't believe it was the SE.

The single contribution of any note made to this board by our friend Boris proved (in)conclusively that this indeed was the original crawl. I believe it came down to a single speck of dust on one frame.

Zion might remember better, but there is a thread somewhere which goes into this issue in more depth.

.SAN files Laserman, they're what the rare stuff on Making Magic is encoded in. What do you know about them and is there some sort of tool ala grisc that we might be able to use to decode them?
