OK thanks troops, I’ve made a few edits and amended the image.

looks amazing.

this might be a dumb question, but what are the two white circles behind the storm troopers in the image on the spline (and at the top right on back cover)?

Yep Silverwook’s right, they accidentally sort of became a signature of the Puggo series:

OK I think I’ve about finished. I still need approval from Puggo and final specs. At it stands I’ve just guessed those, I’ve been out of the loop for some time and just assumed what these might be.

I’ve just guessed the runtime at 131 minutes, the Aspect Ratio at 2.40:1 and assumed it’s Dolby Stereo. Let me know Puggo so I can update the specs.

Cheers.

Unless I’m missing something, I’m guessing uploading the DVD files to MEGA would be faster than snail mailing a disc.

We’re in the same geographic area more or less. And my pal Jaxxon likes his physical media. Also, our internet is slow as a turtle.

I lament the trilogy discs won’t look similar, but we need to track down Boba Feta to make a cover.
JEDIT:Apparently he already did a mock-up for one some time ago.

Gidday mate, I’ll get right on that. I just need a list of specs from Puggo man for the back.

Cheers.

Just re-watched this for my Trilogy watchthrough…but on the xbr960 upscaled to 1080i…
Holy crap!

You all know my complete adoration for the PG, but for the first time I felt like I was actually running the print itself! The PS3 upscaler is pretty good paired with the 960’s 1080i res, and here the PG just shined. Yes, even better than when I projected it. (Used a midmodel Epson IIRC) The colors and densities come across far better due to this magical tube, and even the set’s big issue with phosphor lag wasn’t an issue. And the sound has far more detail to it than I realized…or it may be the fact that I have old Klipsch bookshelfs which can accentuate the highs at times.

Has anything ever come up about actually doing an HD or higher quality file version for PG and PSB without the DVD5 formatting? IIRC Harmy suggested this when going over some untouched PSB shots. And since there were some correction done to PSB…perhaps a Super Puggo Wars might be in order… 😉

Puggo, would you be open to releasing these original scans upressed in an mkv format with better compression ala the H.264 codec for better grain retention?

If so I would love to help with encoding and distribution and maybe new covers and whatnot…

Yikes! That seems to be happening to one too many people around here.

And you spelled Wookiee correctly! Yay!

Yeah it’s a bit of a bugger actually, basically I lost all my favourite Puggo’s stuff: The Super8’s, Puggo Grande & Puggo Strikes Back. Hopefully these should be easy enough to replace. As for that other stuff…

Star Wars OT & 1997 Special Edition - Various Projects Info (Released)
Time

DJ, you've done a lot of good for the OT over the years. Your tireless efforts have been a cornerstone of the community. You've showed patience, dedication and tireless resolve to get the job done and for that I thank you.

This particular release I regard to be your masterpice. I have just finished downloading all three and will continue to seed for the troops.

My comment was made in both haste and ignorance and I hope you'll accept my sincere apologies. Hopefully we can put that behind us and move on.

Thanks again for your efforts and congratulations on your masterpiece.
