The Trailers are on the Jedi disc because I had no second soundtrack or isolated score to put on, and since I didn't want to just put the solitary Trailer on there I put all three.

Personally I think Tim Robbins was the standout performer in that movie. His paranoid recluse was IMO one of his greates roles yet.

I'm with the earless one on this I'm afraid. It's all well and good to dream of spending around 10 grand for what may possibly, eventually be a better quality transfer, but realistically the XO project is our best hope.

If you want to create your own mock up 3D version of your covers, I highly recommend Imandix it's free and gives great results.

Vey nice.

If I could make one suggestion it would be to track down higher res and better quality versions of those pics and replace them. The compression ratio is just too much and as a result the quality suffers terribly. Especially in regards to ESB and ROTJ.

OK it's all finished up, all that's left is to burn the final versions and get em off to Dark Jedi. Here's one of the ROTJ menus to ogle til the discs start filtering down.

Oh and if anyone knows whether this is going to be an eligible candidate for the contest, please let me know.

Well... Dark Jedi's volunteered to do the capturing. I'll do the DVD authoring and packaging. All we need now is some kind soul to front up with the actual discs.

I've just read through the ancient original post and it was indeed Eliasboy who was to undertake the transfer. Only problem was, his Laserdisc was a fossil, his wife had just fallen pregnant and he was trying to record via composite to a DVD recorder. Undeniably not the best of circumstance. I believe the last word was he had thrown in the towel. I'd love for him or someone else even to prove me wrong however.
