The torrent is only missing the md5. It has all of the necessary files to make the dvd. As you can see, several users are at 99.9%. It has been like that for a while. A while ago, I downloaded the md5 from a different source and tried to add it to the torrent, but it didn't work. Unfortunately, I can't find where I saved it now since I burned it on a different dvd. Your don't need it though.

MeBeJedi is correct. The bitrate on the Definitive Collection and Faces LDs would have been PCM, which is @ least 1141kbps (CD audio bitrate).

This is probably a typo, but CD audio bitrate is 1411 kbps, not 1141 kbps. Also if wikipedia has any value to it, NTSC has a bitrate of 1410 kbps, and PAL has a bitrate of 1411 kbps

From wikipedia: 2 channels, 16 bit, 44.1KHz sample rate for PAL and 44056Hz for NTSC.

The audio on Laserdiscs is ususally better than on DVDs because it is uncompressed PCM on laserdiscs, while most dvds have compressed sound in order to save space. The 97 SE also had a 5.1 track stored on one of the analog channels, which has a bit rate of 384 kbps (standard for most 5.1 dvd dolby tracks)

best way to burn DVD's with DVD-Rom folder

or do what bob23 said to make an image, nero express will burn an image with a DVD-ROM folder no problem. So if you can find a free ware image creator that would be cheaper than buying a full nero license. (i'm not familar with image tool classic so dont know if that is free or not)

Yes, it is free

DVD Labels
Time
The latter is crucial for someone like me who isn't going to be printing any covers. I'm keeping all my DVDs in a 300-disc zip wallet, and I need to be able to flip through, locate the set I'm looking for, and then locate the title. So I came up with my own labels

Does keeping dvds in a wallet as opposed to cases more likely to cause damage to the discs (ie warping)? I am probably making this up but I thought that I heard this somewhere.

The Making of TOD is done! Everything fit onto the disc. Now I will await THX's artwork and I should have it seeding in the next couple of days.

FYI...for those who may have missed it, the making of Last Crusade is seeding again.

Sweet, thanks a lot. I can't wait to watch both of them. Are you missing some files though, because you are only at 99.99%

only at 99.99%? lol

i'm probably missing the txt file with the info. Even though this is my disc, I never seeded this so I wouldn't have it.

Yeah, just the txt and the md5, the documentary plays fine.

Can't wait to watch the Making of the Temple of Doom. Thanks

Trolls get bored eventually. Not worth changing our policies to accommodate them. The ignore feature in the new software will allow any user to block anybody else with a single click.

Yeah, okay that makes sense.

Jay,

Maybe in light of recent events you should have to have a mod activate somebody's account after a review before they can post (i.e. not just the automatic sign up-send password through email - begin posting dealie)

I don't know how many people you have sign up each day, but I wouldn't think that it is that many.

Or maybe you just like the using your mod powers to delete people

Thanks, all done. Now I am seeding Star Wars & Empire. Jedi is not moving at all. Any seeders for Return of the Jedi EditDroid version?

I got you. Also although this isn't Star Wars, could anybody seed DF003 The Making of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. There have been no seeders for like a month.

I will still be torrenting the contents of the missing 4th disc. No worries.

Thanks that will be great, but I was still wondering if you ordered from an online store that will ship Brazilian DVDs to the US though.

Yup. I'd have to look at the name of it though. I think the set ended up being about $40 shipped.

Was it this place? I was going to buy The Last of the Mohicans from them, but it popped up on ebay for far cheaper.

Cd Point

EDIT: or maybe this site fnac

Sky_ They look good. I like the ones in the middle the best. I am assuming the ones on the right have spine to match the official dvds, but the one on the left looks slightly better, at least that is what I think. From good comments so far, I am looking forward to seeing this. I am just going now to vote on myspleen, hopefully it can get uploaded.

The Last Of The Mohicans NTSC (Original Version) (Released)
Time

FYI
Some one posted the soundtrack by Trever Jones and Randy Edelman up on usenet a few weeks ago on one of the mp3 groups. I believe it had nine tracks. Here is what they read
1. Main Title
2. Elk Hunt
3. The Kiss ( I believe this theme is heard a few times in the movie)
4 The Glade Part II
5 Fort Battle
6 Promentory
7 Munro's Office / Stockade
8 Massacre / Canoes
9 Top of the World

I think you are missing some tracks
There are two versions of the soundtrack, the one without the I will find you is a rerecording. The one the Hoichi posted is the original.
