^He just incorrectly scaled the images. I found them by quoting his post, then copy/pasting the image urls.
I'm not the right person to comment but I think you might be oversharpening these images. What exactly is the WhiteMagic plugin supposed to do? I'm not sure what the improvements would be.

Hm. That surprises me, but I'm glad he found it lying around somewhere for you. Hopefully he has more than the sample around. While the GOUT-centric projects are looking great, it's always interesting to see people continually tamper with the laserdisc sets. Especially ones who seem to know what they're doing.
^I doubt those still exist. DJ was never fond of them, and the set is years old. I can't even find the thread for the original release! He did attempt a V2 but claimed it was a fruitless effort and deleted it shortly after (which was, of course, his call.)

Have you seen the "Never Say McClory Again" edit? It's a good place to look for ideas; based on the fact that you said you're not simply putting in the Thunderball intro I'm guessing you have.
Am I the only person who wasn't too impressed with the NSNA blu screens I've seen? The skintones are so orange sometimes. Then again, maybe it's just how it was filmed; the '80s could get really weird sometimes.

My problem with lucid dreaming is that I seem to tie myself back to reality more when I realize what's around me isn't real. So, if I say to myself "I want to fly!" it doesn't happen. Because I'm acting like I would if it were real life and I guess my brain perceives it that way.
What's the word on Lowry's Dr. No from those in the know? I thought it looked really good color-wise, though it might be a bit scrubbed of detail.
Thing is, I think it might be easier to correct a teal tint than overdone reds by calibrating your TV to fit your preferences. I have mine usually set to pretty warm whenever I watch movies, though I tend to switch it with cartoons.
I think the old blu-ray satisfies me enough though, as Terminator isn't one of my favorite films or anything. Yeah, it's good, but nothing I really *need* in high-quality. I'd probably be happy with it on a crap VHS, even.
Oops. I edited it to remove that baseless comment, but my negativity has been revealed :P On another note, I'm probably gonna start going through all the ones I haven't seen on Netflix. Most are available for streaming.
Is there any truth to the rumor that non-US releases of OHMSS include the original mono mix but that we've only been left with the 5.1 DTS track?
edit: for that matter, when do we get the singles? I can't justify buying all the movies, but OHMSS remains a must-have for me. And heck, why not Goldfinger too?
