You mean you don't love my fantastic RTs? I choose them very selectively, and by that I mean it's more of what I post than what I have to say! Most of my tweets are either depressing or conversation-oriented regarding cartoons with people more in the know (bt dubs, Animaniacs Season 4 is FINALLY getting released! AAAAAAAAHHHHH)

Last movie seen
Time

Spent the last few hours of the Bond movies being available on Netflix in the US on the Cap's favorite, The Living Daylights. To sum up my opinion: really, REALLY good. John Barry's score shined more than it has ever before for me! I guess it makes sense that it was his last in the series. Dalton seems to have gotten a bad rap as Bond and given this movie I'm not sure why. Highly recommended. Probably the best serious one since From Russia with Love. It was nice to see a serious Bond movie that meets the middle ground between action and espionage, which I think the series struggles with from time to time.

I'll be coming back to it, but much like OHMSS I wouldn't call it a casual viewing movie. Have to be ready to get invested again.

Star Wars - Episode VII - FACTS IN TOP POST
Time

Wasn't it already said that Lucas was looking to get someone else to play Luke? I'd love to see Mark Hamill reprise the role, but if the rumors are true about the characters being in their 30's 40's tops it'd take some serious Tron-level effects to make it work. What's weird is that it's only been said about Mark Hamill specifically, and not the other two.

But more importantly, good for George for starting an education charity. I knew he'd pledged to give away half his fortune, but that particularly raises him up a bit in my book. He may lie about his legacy, but I'd never call him a bad person.

You're right in that Song of the South is/was a bad example. Better examples may be censorship (e.g., The Three Caballeros and The Rescuers) or crappy colortiming (e.g., Snow White).

All right, going off-topic here. I've heard nothing but good things about Snow White, compared to at least a few of them (supposedly Cinderella is just atrocious and it looks like they nearly recolored the entire damn thing.) Robert Harris thinks it's pretty much perfect. Do you know where they supposedly went wrong? We can take this to PM if you'd prefer.

Disney does spend a good deal of time and effort in restoring their films. Just count on Star Wars costing 2 times what it's worth in future releases.

They're also very hit-and-miss. Disney is infamous for modifying their films' color palettes to appeal to more modern audiences/children. And there's no grain to be found anywhere.

This is the end of most hope for a restoration of the OUT IMO.

I can't wait for Super Bombad Racing: the Series, though. That shit will be intense.

AMA is Redditspeak for "Ask Me Anything", as Leonardo said.

bkev, why don't you have anything in your signature?

Because previous ones were too obnoxious.
