god damn it will never unhear and will now hear it every time... :(

Snicker's usually in the preservations section if that helps.
I guess what I meant by that is less that I felt sorry for him and more that it seems just as immature to post his private messages and give him attention. But, in light of recent events... meh. My condolences to everyone who has to deal with PMs on other websites.
Oh good lord...
The fact that this thread is still going means that you're looking for someone to outright call you a disrespectful brat and agree with the premise of this thread. Quit playing the victim.
Ah. Yeah, I guess that was a silly assumption. I can live with subtitles if it's the best version we've got quality-wise.

I understand the need to vent your frustrations. I just worry about it becoming a slippery slope.
An obnoxious bump with a request. You'd think I only just joined this site or something.
Anyone wanna take a stab at applying the colors from the 1982 rental transfer by Retartedted to the GOUT?
I figure if I can stand the subtitles on my Star Wars documentaries i can stand them on BTTF. Plus, on the Indiana Jones WOWOW broadcasts, the subtitles only popped up to translate things (ie English signs) every so often. Are you sure that's not what happens on that instead?
But really though this is a great idea and it should in theory only take one of us to step up and hold onto the money, if Kickstarter/Indiegogo/whatever doesn't pan out. It's just a matter of getting the idea outside of the OT.com bubble.

^^ I have been reading the Batgirl issues of this story arc. The last page of Batgirl #17 was pretty gruesome. The story concludes in this weeks Batman #17. I think I may know what you mean. If so....yeah..what ?
this fucking thread probably would have crashed computers only 7 years ago...
As stupid as this sounds with my old Western Digital, which I think is about the same age as yours, it was VERY easy to plug the cable into the unit upside down by mistake; the lights would even go on, the computer just wouldn't register it. Make sure you're not doing that.
I apologize for assuming you'd make the same dumb mistake I would. I just had problem after problem with the cables - the plug on my unit itself is actually very loose and it's a struggle to keep a cable in.
So, Batman Death of the Family. It has a pretty fucking horrifying end. Like, I mean. What.
If the WOWOW rip is still around color me interested.
I haven't had much luck with external hard drives, it's possible it just crapped out on you out of nowhere. What make is it?
Not that this is allowed to happen in blockbusters anymore but I can't be the only person who wants unknowns / TV actors with one or two well-established faces as the big bads can I?
great way to test your speed right here.
Ooh, that's a nice one.
too many of these stupid nostalgia ploys apply to me. I remember liking Spielberg's restaurant - hell, I even still have a souvenir cup from there.
Oh, Vader and Fett makes sense. I totally see the Empire making use of bounty hunters all the time, kind of goes in line with the whole scummy thing.
To be fair to FUNimation I would only imagine that's what they received. Toei's not known for high-quality preservation efforts; the master tapes for all of DragonBall were thrown out, and the difference between the original broadcast audio and the home video releases is staggering. Not to mention the uncut version of the Fist of the North Star movie is completely lost!
No excuse for the SE Bond DVDs though.
PLEASE, please no Vader in either of these films. Not even a cameo. No way should a skilled smuggler get entangled in something like that. This is the man who drops his shipments at the first sign of an Imperial cruiser - no way would he go up against the second in command!

The most recent anime film I enjoyed was Paprika. It's probably as mind bending as Inception in it's own way. (And I'm betting Hollywood will make a live action version and screw it up.) I only discovered it because someone used footage from it to make a music video.
