Got to Season 3 of DS9. This is where the fun begins/it grows the beard.

"The Search" may eve be better than "Best of Both Worlds!" Certainly, it's the only two-parter I've seen where part 2 is better.

Someone please stop FOX. We're getting to the point where the old Simpsons gags about the network show it in a more positive light than I feel about it right now.

I have yet to see LTK but I dig the theme song. Considering Living Daylights is a personal favorite among the more serious Bond films, I'd probably enjoy that too.

Although I agree Doomsday wouldn't be a bad choice either I'm gonna side with SilverWook and say that Darkseid would make a great villain for another Superman movie. There's so much to pull from in Jack Kirby "New Gods" world -- and as far as I know he's a much more interesting villain than Doomsday if only because of his motivations and backstory.

That said, I think he'd be best for a Justice League movie. In my dream world that movie would go like the end of Superman TAS where Darkseid drives Superman mad and he almost destroys the world... that would be interesting.

....where in God's name do you live that movie tickets are $5.50? In Southern California, my student discount tickets I buy on-campus are $8 -- and that's $5 less than you pay at the multiplex! It's getting so bad and I'm so damn stubborn that I almost never go to the movies even when I really want to see something.

Honestly, I think I like the 2004 call if only because it's not a recycled Bantha call. It's a little less threatening, but still sounds cool by me.

The blu-ray sound is a travesty. I could probably learn how to mix a better sound in a community college class.

The sets and lighting are AMAZING. Kirk and Scotty are fantastic. I'm not as crazy about Bones and Spock, but there's enough other greatness to make up for it.

Do you happen to know what their expected turnaround times are for each episode?

A fair point.  I had a memory blank.  I was more referring to the jump in overall quality.

Season 1 minus the pilot with Q is absolute garbage... and even that has its crap moments.  Season 2 improves a little but the stories are still so silly and most of the actors haven't really hit their stride yet.

Seriously.  You could practically skip everything EXCEPT "The Measure of a Man" and "Q Who" and still feel comfortable with everything after.
