As others have said, primarily it's the "one account per user" rule. When Team first joined, I thought it was a different person, but Neg1's idiosyncratic posting (and that some of the IP addresses match) make it clear that he is now using Team's account.

So... he lied about being far removed from the project then? This just gets weirder and weirder. You'd think if he was trying to be on the low, he'd at least cut the iconic posting style. I'm so confused.

AHA! I always KNEW there was something weird about the SFX shots in TNG. The video framerate definitely made me think TNG went CG like DS9 did eventually.

Speaking of, halfway through season six. I'll put it this way on seasons 1-3: I genuinely forgot Sisko had hair at one point. Other than "The Search" I would recomment to friends they skip all 3 if not for plot essentials

Info: Recommended Editions of Disney Animated (and Partially Animated) Features
Time

re: Mary Poppins -- it's been my experience that Disney's clean-up is only extreme with their animated features. Pete's Dragon featured minimal DNR as well as I recall.

As for TLM, well I hope those are mistakes but I wouldn't be surprised if they were intentional. I can't help but laugh at people who are calling these SE-level changes, though; for all we know, these could be the result of this remaster being sourced from a different print. Even SW pre-new crawl had variations here and there, after all.

I second the recommendation for Red Dead Redemption. Fantastic game.

Though I have to disagree on L.A. Noire. Love that game. Insanely detailed recreation of 1947 Los Angeles. The attention to detail is insane and the size of the map is very impressive. And pile on top of that classic film noir storytelling and baby, you got a stew goin'.

I can second the thoughts on attention to detail. The map is nearly 100% accurate... I recognize some things on the map from today, like old theater marquis (though the businesses below them are obviously no longer movie palaces.)

It was fun but I didn't finish it. Happens a lot to me, actually.

Star Wars: Episode VII to be directed by J.J. Abrams **NON SPOILER THREAD**
Time

I hate to be that guy, but remember this stuff about models and actual locations was touted as a triumphant homage to the original films for Crystal Skull as well... at least I know the matte paintings were. That didn't really happen. This sounds like a good PR spin, especially given that she says they're only "looking" at these options right now. Don't be surprised if the movie is mostly CG effects; I won't complain, but I know some people will
