The Warriors would like a word with you. I'd argue the visual changes to that film are more offensive than Star Wars... though there would, of course, be no disputing which is of more cultural significance.

In elementary school I went to school with Michelle Pfeiffer's kids. When I did a summer camp with her daughter, Michelle came along on a field trip. I began to excitedly tell other kids who she was, and she pulled me aside and said that she was there as her daughter's mother and would appreciate if I did not make a big deal of her celebrity status the future.
Needless to say, I cut it out. She was very nice about this, and I've always respected the way she approached it. She was just as graceful with adults if they brought up her career or asked for autographs at school functions.
Guess we'll see soon enough if the Weisman curse holds true. He lost Gargoyles at season 3 (coincidentally, the show was canceled after said third season), and two much beloved cartoons he's helmed - Spectacular Spider-Man and Young Justice - were prematurely canceled.

He's actually quite good in the Nolan films I've seen him in, more than just Batman. To be honest I think he'd be a strange choice but I'd be down with it if he played it straight like Telly Savalas, as Jaitea suggested.

GMT came here shortly after one of his TFN bans if I'm not mistaken. He didn't stay very long.
They were pretty prevalent in Super8 and didn't detract from how much I love that film but I'd prefer not to see them in Star Wars. Hopefully JJ knows to keep his signature tricks out of this one in order to create a more, for lack of a better term, timeless-looking film. I'm not expecting '70s (or even early '80s) aesthetics in the overall look, but I wouldn't mind if Abrams studied that era a little more closely.

Looks like Mickey's Christmas Carol got a very DNR-happy release. We're not talking Sorcerer's bad, but damn if it isn't close. Plus your standard cropping, but I'm less worried about that due to the fact that it was likely presented this way at one point.
