Yeah, I don't know where I'm gonna upload now, because RS went absolutely crap and limited the dl speed to 30Kbps for free users, in other words, it is impossible to dl anything from there unless you have a paid account. Uloz.to kind of sucks too and MU is dead.

frankly, the ideal thing might be to set up a private tracker. (even myspleen is IMHO too large an audience for an in-progress WP)

Meh, I can do without them but will abide by whatever Harmy thinks is bet.

The end of WP2 is so far amazing (as expected). Don't really remember this ever being so jarring (yellow light on Luke's sleeve, also visible on Han's in shot before) but again, wtvr. I've never seen an IB print and have not actually watched unfiltered GOUT that much, shockingly.

Just looked at the promo...Tatooine shot is looking good, but it was never a major problem in the SE.  The burn though; I always thought that was introduced sometime after the thatrical run, when they were prepping transfers for home video.  No kidding, it was always there?

I'd like to know this for sure, too. :)

Joke of the day. :D

Anyway, that WP3 looks great otherwise, and I skipped through the WP2.3 a bit and it looked stunning as well.

Great job! As usual. :)

Glad to see StinkyDinkins' contribution making its long-awaited appearance.  I was afraid Harmy had forgotten.

Wait so that burn-mark is for real? Wow.

This looks fan-frikkin-tastic. The shakiness threw me off but I might be imagining things.

Anyone else having trouble downloading this? it says '' Na stránce nastala chyba '' for me, which i assume means error? i also tried the link using mipony and jdownloader no luck.

just tried it.  it worked fine for me.

Works for me as well.

For me it works in the browser, but not with jDownloader. *Extremely slow*, and I'm scared it might time-out. Hope that helps...

would break absolutely everything from GPU-assisted playback to every standalone player for practically no benefit other than a minor increase in compression efficiency.

This seems like a bad idea to me.

Ditto. This reminds of custom quant matrices back in the day. While it's not a gimmick by any means, it just doesn't seem worth it...

Honestly dude? I think you have gone way beyond the call here, and in any case really am not familiar enough to catch many of these minor color gaffes. The fact that you've actually improved over the 2nd WP, which was already, IMHO, a revelation to most of us here, is beyond amazing.

I think most people who continue to push are motivated by the desire for you or anybody else not to have to release yet another version after this, and because, as corellian77 said, uh, you can. But it does feel at this point like tinkering around the edges, right? So if we don't get it exactly right, it's really not much of a loss, unless you've completely lost the ability to enjoy the film as a film, with real people who won't know the difference, a fat tub of popcorn, and some pizza rolls, instead of as a trained 70s film historian/nitpicker
