Info: Jaws - PCM mono track
Time

If anyone doesn’t mind the exclusion of a Nancy Sinatra song (this was the only bit of info i could find regarding the home video version rescored bit)

anyone reckon the PCM track from this Laserdisc of Jaws be worth preserving and syching up with the rather impressive Blu-ray?

[](http://www.lddb.com/laserdisc/21671/41086/Jaws-(1975)[http://www.lddb.com/laserdisc/21671/41086/Jaws-(1975](http://www.lddb.com/laserdisc/21671/41086/Jaws-(1975 "www.lddb.com/laserdisc/21671/41086/Jaws-(1975"))

I understand the mono track is already on the BD but only as 786kbps DTS 2.0

Enter The Dragon - Theatrical Version Preservation (Released)
Time

putting this idea out there hoping someone has the time and resources

Original theatrical version preservation of Enter the Dragon (personally i can’t stand the additional 3 mins of footage due to the awful dubbing)

Video from the Blu-ray (i’m aware that there is a new edition upcoming but no details as of yet) and mono audio taken from the Laserdisc found here

Preserving DTS LaserDisc tracks, specifically Jurassic Park
Time

I remember owning the R6 DVD's of the JP trilogy and it was reported that they were mastered directly from the DTS cinema tracks as well. they sunded very good compared to the R1 DVD i had at the time

I've just recieved a copy of the BD with this preserved DTS track on it. look forward to comparing it actually.

From i've heard so far (only a few mins of it) the amount of work that went into preserving the track is phenomal!!!

Good job Jetrell :)

Okay, I got the word from myspleen ..... and the word is GO.  I am working towards getting this uploaded tonight.

On a side note, here is another DTS soundtrack that I'd like to see archived ...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-16mm-Reel-Event-Horizon-Film-Proofs-DTS-Discs-RARE-Digital-/160813895972?_trksid=m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D3%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D8924031277951131449

did anyone managed to pick this up? I saw this at the cinema 3 times and the audio on the DVD and BD have no where near the impact that it did at the cinema

plus it would give us the chance to correct the slightly wonky AR as well

Info: Re-mixed audio tracks on video releases
Time

i did read somewhere that they've gone back and fixed some of the sound fx in Vertigo but again, it's hearsay. still waiting to hear about the Mono audio though but from Universal's track record, i'm hoping that it's the one from the masterpeice collection

i think i have the same Jaws LD actually if it says home video version on the top

like i said, was just a thought i had
