how about smoking piles of dead ewoks after the battle, like return of the king. no victory without sacrifice etc.

was just thinking actually, with previous talk of alternative lightening and vader having a pile of flashbacks upon witnessing luke's potential death,

what if the lightening arcs seem to create faces of people who have been killed across the saga, like qui gon, mace windu, padme and obi wan. theit faint screams could be heard when a hint of their lightening outline is seen, maybe climaxing with padme screaming "ANAKIN!", and as her voice fades away he chucks the old man down a hole.

(or anti-climatically decapitates him with lukes sabre.....)

would be interesting to see, ive seen something similar before on youtube, but like a reverse of it, playing Luke and Leia's theme in for padme and anakin, like a skywalker family tune.

has anyone ever seen the STAR WARS:Droids series? is it worth watching?

yeahh, ziro just had to crap all over it. i like how the seperatists didnt think to hire him to assassinate palpatine. though the episode could make an alternative prologue to ROTS. is it me, or does asoka look slightly older in the trailer for the next series? im kind of hoping she will be an adult in the live action series.

i agree to trimming ashoka banter for sure, and especially any padawan references. I was thinking of maybe portraying her as Luminaras padawan, who sends ashoka to anakin for experience.

the hutt elements were daft especially with Emo the Hutt. I really wish they expanded on grevious backstory a bit more, we see the statues of his former fleshy self, but nothing more annoyingly. The malevolence trilogy is really cool, but i dont like how there are three very seperate stories within it. ideally the route to a good film would be mixing up the plot episodes of the multiple episodes, for instance,

enstead of plo kloon being shot down by malevolence, it would be yoda, and then the first episode would play out. (except i have no intension of using the first episode.:P)

ok, we have seen the abomination of the movie, and all 22 episodes (if not you can find them on youtube)

im unsure whether to base it around the malevolence trilogy, and considering baybe making 3 slightly shorter films, like maybe 1.30 each

its all up in the air! when my uni workload diminishes i will make some more mockups using the current CN broadcasts.

i am still working on my clone wars edit, but currently have loads of work on with my comic, and ive also decided to wait until the series comes out on DVD until i make the final version (currently working on a rough cut with CN logos in bottom corner!)

has anyone been following the series? my original plan of the series has been ditched, currently thinking of maybe making a CLONE WARS trilogy of longer episodes, but that may change too.

i think its over at FE forums, i remember people being skeptical about having plot revealed amongst the KILL KILL KILL gameplay. with the graphics though i think it could make for some pleasant viewing, mabe with a solid musc track and voiceovers too.

would anyone be interested in doing an edit of the cartoon from the Holiday Special? maybe changing the colours and spicing up the visuals (vaderios!:P) it would make a good little proplogue into ESB:R if we have the cartoon:R too.

its well worth a watch. i woud suggest changing the planet name to ORD MANDELL, bobas colours, and adding a crawl perhaps.

ive just watched the whole thing....some great bits, and....some not so great bits. i dont think Harrison Ford enjoyed himself too much. The Cartoon is fantastic though, i love the comic style it has. wasnt too impressed with the wookies, though as said before, some bits are fantastic, and others really are not.:P

my review though would sound like this..

in the ROTS comic, obi wan says "I love you anakin, but i don't have to save you."

i quite liked that, if it was a cut line it wouldnt surprise me if they took it oout as it is quite similar to batman begins.

maybe artoo could be giving holographic projections too? what if the ewok army was to be like zulu, with a guy at the back waving a spear, then a load of ewoks get shot willing just to count the guns? basically head ewok stands at the back with the droids to direct tactically.

what if all the initial scout troopers are unusually jumpy and spooked about something, so they are really easily jumped by the rebels, as if the imperials are more interested in surviving the teddy wrath than the job at hand.

would it be worth giving the ewoks a more pygmy look, blowpipes, shrunken heads, piercings, green camo etc? opening of raiders of the lost ark would be a good example.
