he announced officially in 1990 at the florida star tours that he would start working on the new trilogy at the end of the 90's. before that he had been pestered in interviews about the prequels and he never denied he wouldnt make them. i dont get older fans being so in the dark in regards to the prequels. i had been waiting for them most of my life
