Hi Acbagel, sorry my review wasnāt very good. I think part of the problem is with TROS is that the film is a mess to begin with so itās not that I didnāt like your edit of this but even jus thinking what would I do to fix it is a shoulder shrug from me lol.
For me personally there are so many little things with the theatrical release itās hard just finding somewhere to begin, Hyperspace Jumping, Laia training Rey, Palpatine and his fleet of Star destroyerās, Chewyās dead no he isnāt, c3po loses his memory no he doesnāt, they fly nowš¤¦ and thatās just off the top of my head what o can remember with the official release, so please believe me when I say I really appreciate what you have tried to achieve so no I donāt think the theatrical is better at all.
My thoughts on Kylo living is just my personal opinion and where as I like seeing something different I donāt know with this, I thought it was clever what you did but itās just one of those things.
The alien spy, I know we see multiples of the same Alien just like we see Greedo after he was killed by Han in ANH. Itās just me being nit picky, sorry itās not a very good answer but itās an honest one.
Honestly for me personally you hit it way out of the park with 7 & 8 and am looking forward to seeing the updated versions you recently announced (if they require new links I would love them please).

I also put some lava in what looked like a river in the forest flyover.
Since we know that the RO shot is very similar in its opening to this one, I donāt think anyone should mind if the beginning of the biomes shot is cut. This way the back of the shot is emphasized, a part that wasnāt in RO.

Hi again Acbagel, and once again thank you for sharing your ST edits with me. Like I previously mentioned I havenāt seen or read any of the legends material, so what you may be trying to achieve with your edit I might not see or realise why you made that change.
OK out of the 3 ST this one is the hardest mainly for me personally because I have only seen the theatrical version once (I do own the Blu-ray, but have only seen this movie in the cinema) the other times I have viewed TROS have all been fan edits so some of your changes I may have missed (which should be a good thing as this means everything has blended and flowed smoothly).

Ok things I wasnāt a fan of or didnāt like (this is just me personally and only giving my personal thoughts and opinions)
We see Kylo drop the decapitated head of the alien spy on the table during their briefing with commanders, Later we see the same Alien giving Poe and Finn info about the first order. I think I know what you are trying to achieve with that cut but for maybe a first time viewer it may be a bit confusing.
The end Kylo lives, I appreciate the work you did to achieve this but for me personally it just didnāt work, especially when we see him boarding the falcon, I was like WTF š¤· lol.
Iām sorry I havenāt left anything positive for this edit, I know it is a mess of a movie to begin with but the major changes that were made just didnāt work for me personally.
I honestly and truthfully enjoyed and love your TFA and TLJ edits and am looking forward to seeing the full finished edit but for me this one is a big miss.

So i take it this edit isnāt for you lol, maybe you should have read That Guys change list first. I honestly donāt get your post, if you have nothing nice or positive or even in your case not interested in this edit why comment at all.
Iām not attacking you or anything but donāt get why make such a comment when you can clearly see that others members are interested in what That Guy is doing.
I know people on here have been helping Hal out with this edit and initially I did vote for Vaderās Tie but at the end of the day this is Halās edit and Iām happy with whatever he chooses to put in, so I would just go with what you feel is the right choice Halš.
Hi again Octorox and once again thank you for sharing your PT edits with me. I watched this last night and really enjoyed, very much like your TPM edit I love what you have done by using Hal 9000ās TAS as your main source and elements of L8wrtrās and trimming (Sandingš) certain parts down.
I canāt honestly remember the last time I had watched AOTC with my full attention so some changes I may have missed but things I did notice and like weāre by trimming down Anakin and Obi1ās conversation in the elevator their relationship as master and student seem better, was glad to see jar jars lines removed along with Anakinās akward interaction with Padameā also makes their relationship a lot better. I was sceptical about the trimming of jango and Obi1ās fight but to be honest I very much liked it along with all the cuts with Anakin and Padameā by toning things down it makes their relationship and love for each other more believable.
Thank you once again for sharing this edit with me, I honestly really enjoyed and am looking forward to watching your edit of ROTS (Hopefully tonightš¤).

Hi Octorox, first just want to say thank you for sharing you PT edits with. I watched this edit last night and really enjoyed so thank you once again for sharing with me.
I know itās based off of Hal, l8tr and the phantom editors edits of TPM which is obviously a very good starting point, I have always considered Halās PT to be the absaloutle best of the PT edits but with your edit you removed to 2 tiny nitpicks that I have lol and thatās the Pod Race Commentator during the Pod Race and during the final battle in space Anakinās "How about spinning, thatās fun"š¤¦ (Apologies if Hal did remove this but think Iām right in thinking he left that line in). Anyways I really enjoyed and now onto AOTCš¬ lol.
