This is on one of RowMan's Supplementals, and it is probably the best quality you will find of the Underoos commercial, all things considered.

Seamless Branching / Multiple Angles
Time
Okay. I am new to DVD editing, so please bear with me.

1.) In a professionally-produced DVD, if a certain scene has an alternate angle, is the second angle an actual part of the same video file, or is it a separate video file that is accessed when the second angle is selected?

For instance, in the EditDroid version of A New Hope, how did the authors make the alternate crawl selectable? Is the alternate crawl a part of the main video file, or is it a small file that is accessed when the alternate crawl is selected?

And, last, where does the audio fall into this? Is there audio for each angle, or is there one main audio source?

2.) Is seamless branching the process used for multiple angles, or is it different? Would a seamless branch be if a scene is added that is not in one of the selectable variants of the movie? Is the EditDroid crawl considered a seamless branch, or is it just an alternate angle?

3.) Whatever the EditDroid alternate crawl is technically, I am wanting to do something along these lines in an edit I am working on. What program did the EditDroid team use for this? What programs will let you do an alternate angle? How do you integrate any alternate angles into a menu that allows you to select such?

I really can't find an overview of how to do this anywhere else. If anyone can help, please do or point me in the right direction!

I think I've already got a better shadowing of the Emperor today, although it'll never match the original. Mine is the scuffed-up image on the right.

Now I'm confused regarding color correction. I can't tell if you're being sarcastic.

I much prefer the image on the right. Like I said, now the Emperor doesn't look like Skeletor.

Which is the Darth Editous shot? Left (brighter) or right (darker)? This made me realize what I hate about this new scene - the Emperor looks like Skeletor!

This might be an obvious question, but will there be global color correction done this film to account for the 2004 color issues? Was this done with your original edit of ANH? (As good a place to ask as any). Thanks!

You know, I don't know if it is the torrent program I use, but every time I've tried getting this from MySpleen, I get an error message, saying that something is corrupt. Anyone else had this problem?
Lots of others had that problem at first.
You've apparently found the torrent already. Why haven't you read the torrent comments ?

Because I'm dumb.

A person who claims to have never heard of Episodes 4, 5, and 6

I think his name is George Lucas, and the village is Skywalker Ranch.

Burning Dual-Layer Discs For The First Time
Time
Yeah, just make sure that you set the layer 0 sector number correctly. Since it was incorrect, I was unable to re-rip from the DVD for a correct reburn. So, whenever you do your burn, just make sure that is correct.

One other thing - following the guide, I never saw the blue, yellow, etc. lines "advising" which sector is best for a break - I just kept highlighted the sectors that were first highlighted when I clicked to that screen, and it worked fine.

Here is the guide that I used - it seems complicated at first, but it works perfectly. And, the guide is a little old, so here's the deal - the newer version of PgcEdit works fine with ImgBurn now; in fact, ImgTool Classic does NOT work with PgcEdit anymore. So, essentially, just replace ImgTool Classic with ImgBurn everywhere that appears. This worked fine for me.

I can agree to that, and that's throughout the trilogy - I mean, it's not a big deal, since it still looks real, but it was something I noticed even as a kid.
