//RETURNING TO JEDI\\: NTSC & PAL DVD
Time
I live in Illinois, so I've heard of Mancow. You can read more about him on Wikipedia. I would say go for it if you don't mind his show's format (tamer version of Howard Stern). It would be a nice opportunity to speak about all the issues though.

I watched up until the sail barge explosion/sandstorm last night. This movie is great. Like the others, I'm amazed by how much stuff you've been able to pack in, and how much rare stuff, too. The lightsaber building scene was really fun. The footage you got from people who snuck on the sail barge set was great, too - nice to see it show up in here (and so clean!).

Where is the sandstorm footage originally from? A trailer? Also, in your research, how many of the deleted scenes from ESB and ROTJ were actually fully filmed? Just curious.

I'd say more, but I'm still going through the movie. Overall, this has been really great. Thanks for all your hard work!

My only issue so far (and this is a problem on my end) is that when I watch this, it's like it is anamorphic widescreen on my 4:3 TV, without resizing itself to fit my TV. So, the left and the right sides are cut off. It looks fine on my computer, naturally. I am assuming it is just an issue with my player, or with the settings I have on. I have no idea how to fix it, though, if I even can. I've never had an issue with NTSC anamorphic movies on this player, so the player might just not be fully compatible with PAL. Oh well.

Can someone please help me out? I finished downloading this and now I would like to burn it. I have burned dual-layer discs in the past use the program PcgEdit (to set layer breaks and everything). Does this already have layer breaks set into it? If so, would burning it through PcgEdit mess anything up? And if it would, what program should I use to burn it? Can I make an ISO using ImgTool Classic and then just burn it through something like ImgBurn? I just really don't want to mess up my original files or make a coaster trying to get this right. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Criterion Collection: Adventures of Baron Munchausen & The Fisher King (Released)

Munchhausen Madness!!!

Las fabulosas aventuras del Baron de Munchausen - messed up cartoon with singing.
Munchausen (1911) - George Melies 1911 story.
trailer for Münchhausen (1943) - listen to the way this Münchhausen talks - I think John Neville had to have based his performance on him. That flying over the castle bit is great, too!

Official Release Thread - Alien Appendix - Updated with #2 info (Released)
Time
This is kind-of off-topic, but I figured this is a good place to ask.

I was watching Alien the other day - what exactly is going on in that deleted hive scene in the air vents with Dallas and Brett? Can someone explain what is happening (particularly to Brett) and how it fits (if at all) into the alien's life-cycle? Thanks!

On the flipside I have this project to keep me busy and keep my mind from worrying about insurance payouts, buying a new car etc.

I'm pretty sure I've missed some more shots from the AC and EC, and will be doing some more detailed comparisons at the weekend. I have smoothed over the cracks in the soundtrack in a lot of places. Hopefully the whole thing seems a bit more professional
Will hopefully have version 1 finshed very soon. Once I have this locked down, I will start on creating version 2 with the alternate intro and Faerie Dance scene.

Hey - get well soon! Don't overdue anything. Glad you weren't injured seriously. Good luck with the insurance!

I still really like my suggestion - Beginning Star Wars. It's the beginning of the trilogy, the beginning of "the Star Wars," and beginning as in "beginning work on" these movies. Maybe it's just me, but I just think "beginning" has a nicer ring to it than some of the other verbs mentioned - it seems more epic.

Beginning Star Wars
Building Empire
Returning To Jedi

Originally posted by: lordjediI burn all my DL discs as DVD-ROM (not DVD-Video). They play perfectly in my Cyberhome when burned like that. You just have to be sure and create the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders. Haven't had any trouble with discs as long as I did that. I do wish it could play Divx files, but it's fairly easy to convert those to DVD as well.

What program are you burning with?
