STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

Before he can do either, he needs a shot to pull elements from (or matte elements to) that doesn't jump around from one frame to the next. It's not a matter of if he wants to fix it, but of doing the necessary prep work to be able to fix it properly.

IOW, he has to fix the base shot before he can fix the details within it.

Or how about try something completely NEW for the new trailer? Stay away from fade in titles ("Every saga has a beginning," etc.), keep it non-linear, maybe (just maybe) try some music OTHER than the Star Wars score? It could work, but then again it coule be a complete mess. As long as the framework is sound, the trailer could stand out as something special and not just ANOTHER Star Wars trailer.

The only time trailers have music from elsewhere in them is the early ones before the film has a proper score to pull music from. The music is as much a part of SW as any other element. It wouldn't feel right to change it.

I loved the SE trailer back in the day. Really amped me up to go see them on the big screen for the first time. (I was not alive when they originally came out)Too bad it did not really turn out like I hoped.... oh well, thats what Adywan's versions are for. Can't wait for the new trailer! Anyone start a countdown yet? lol

Maybe when ROTJ:R is far enough along, Ady could make a side trip to re-do that trailer with his own clips. :-)

4:45 - Joker: "Don't worry. I'm going to tell you where they are - both of them - and that's the point. You'll have to choose."

That's why I thought he was telling the truth about the addresses and the subsequent change was a continuity mistake. Joker was confident that Batman couldn't save both of them so no point in lying about who was where.

I noticed a continuity mistake that would be hard to fix. After the interrogation scene where Joker tells Batman where Harvey and Rachel are, Batman says he's going after Rachel but he goes after Harvey. Then later in the film, there's a reference to those same addresses for the final confrontation with Harvey. So which one do you change, and how?

Just saw this on Wookieepedia...

Many fans claim to have seen a duplicate Millennium Falcon in Episode Five The Empire Strikes Back. During the chase through the asteroid field, in a shot from the Falcon's cockpit, you see the Millennium Falcon flying in the distance.

Is this true? Where is it, which shot?

Haha.

Seriously, is that just Mark and Carrie goofing around, or was it a proposed scene, or what?

I'm not sure, but on the Editdroid bonus disc 3, the 1979 teaser trailer #2 shows a different scene of them going for a smooch. It looks to be during the scene where she kisses him in front of Han and Chewie while he's recovering, but it's a totally different shot, as they are gazing longingly into each other's eyes as they move for the kiss. It freaked my girlfriend out when I showed her the trailer a while back. Kind of makes me wonder where Lucas was going with that idea.

By GL's own admission in the vintage "From Star Wars To Jedi: The Making Of A Saga", he wasn't sure about making Leia Luke's sister until he was writing the Luke/Vader duel in ROTJ. Then he went back into the script and added Obi-Wan explaining the truth to Luke.

"But what about Leia sensing Luke at the end of TESB?" That was Luke using the Force to call TO her, she wasn't actively trying to connect with him. If the sister idea never happened, it could always be explained away as Leia having latent Force sensitivity that Luke brought out in her through that first experience.

It's always interesting to see ImperialFighter's final product. I know that I did the screenshots, but I usually have no idea what he's going for. I find it interesting the things that jump out at him that I never noticed. Of course, after scouring the shots trying to get the frame he wants, I can see them now.

I just noticed that the feet have much more snow encrusted on them in this shot:

Than in these shots:

Now I'm ruining it for everybody.

So now we have to deal with extra snowflakes on the walker's feet as well as Chewie's??
