Thanks for the breakdown, Ziz. I couldn't remember if the "semi-ultimate" had the trivia track or not. (actually, wasn't that where it said 'hey, that's me!' when Harrison Ford's name came up? Was that even fixed for the DVD-9?) I need to watch it again, with the trivia track on. Been a while. ;)

No, just the opposite.  The 9 is where the text is mixed up, on the 5 it's correct.

9 - "Ultimate" version - Trivia Track, Easter Eggs, Bonus Features, better video quality if you have a super-high end TV.

5 - "Semi-Ultimate" version - Trivia Track, fewer Bonus Features, no Easter Eggs.  Decent quality for most people.

5 Purist - Undoes some more hotly debated changes - some editing, no added music.  Barebones, no menus, no trivia, no bonus, no eggs, nothing.

Xvid - "Workprint" version - still had some FX issues and other tweaks that slipped through and were fixed on the 5 and 9 versions.

Purist is only available in NTSC, everything else comes in NTSC or PAL, I believe.

One of these days, I'm gonna have to line up my printer correctly... these are so great, but I never print them right! >_>

or perhaps to Kinko's?  Either way, I think I'll end up using those Ash.

Buy a pack of legal size paper and fire up the cover you want to print in Windows Paint.

File>Page Setup.

Landscape, Legal size paper, set all margins to 0.  Paint will re-adjust them to your printer's minimum default.  Horizontal and Vertical center are optional.  I like to check them so that I don't have to struggle with trimming 1/16" off of one end...it's easier to trim an inch and a half.

Set your print quality and hit Print.

After the prequels and Indy 4,  i am not too sure i want to hand over ten bucks to the cashier in the theaters to see another favorite film series be destroyed before my very eyes in mockery of there once brilliance as movies.

And if your so emotional tied to the characters or series by nostalgia or just like them for whatever reason its like getting punched in  the gut or kicked in the nuts.  Supposedly that is what people felt after seeing Crystal Numbskull.

Ady,

I asked this in the other thread, but since it's kind of a crossover question...since you're going to have to take time out to generate so many models and such to create new shots for ESB:R, when do you think you'll be at a stopping point to shift sideways and whip up ROTJ AVCHD?  At least complete that set for us while we wait for Revisited.

Star Wars Time
Time

Leaving Hoth is the time reference, as both sets of characters (Luke & R2, Han & the gang) left within a few minutes, maybe an hour or two, tops, of each other.

I could see the Luke & Yoda scenes being stretched over a few weeks, maybe, but what were the gang on the Falcon doing during all that time?

Han & co went from escaping Hoth into the asteroid field, out of the slug to hitching a ride on the SD, then to Bespin.  I can't see that chain of events taking months, or even weeks.  Maybe a few days, tops.

The publicity stills and the interviews are very cool, and the way the Enterprise takes off at movie start is awesome to,but I have never been a fan of the annoying warnings faneditors put on there DVD's,because quit frankly they are easily stripped and really do nothing, people are going to do whatever they want with the video anyways(I should know,ALOT of my previous works have been and still are being sold),just like we do,but your own little FF presentation is OK,it is like your signature.

Just got FEDS to and did not like the warning on that either,so I will strip it to LOL,FE started all that BS and now it seems everyone thinks it has to be on there.

Hell the official retail versions have arnings up the ass and we don't seem to listen to those do we?\

but hey that is just me,FF keep an eye on your PM's,you will be gettting one shortly.

Thank for the comment.  I'll leave everything but my FF logo off my next edit project.

I don't know about that.  The warning stuff may be useless from a fan-edit perspective, but it's a necessary step to thwart the lazy bootleggers who download stuff and burn stacks of discs to sell at conventions.  They're not paying attention to the details, they're just interested in making money, which is what puts the fan editing community in jeopardy in the first place.  Having the warning on there at least educates the customer to what they're watching, if not thwarting the bootlegger.

just search for "star wars avchd" on demonoid and you'll find them

That was the first thing I tried, which was how I found ANH, then I tweaked it to search for Empire.

Edit - OK, searched for "adywan" and I found it.  I figured they would be named similar though, which is what was confusing me.  ANH said "STAR WARS IV" but ESB said "Star Wars Ep 5".  ANH also had "AVCHD" in the title, ESB didn't.

Anyone have any suggestions where I can find the EP V torrent?  I was able to download EP IV in a little over a day, but I've been downloading EP V for 3 days now, and I still only have 20% of it.  Thanks!

Same here.  I've done searches on Demonoid for "star wars V avchd" and "empire avchd" and am coming up blank.
