Question about the Prequels
Time
Is it OK for me to like the Prequels?

I suffer from an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). I get easily offended and anything that offends me becomes a bad memory, which becomes locked in my mind. And anything I do to try and get rid of them doesn't work. They're so bad that they constantly interfere with my daily life, which is why I had to put my Paint Wars project on hold. There are several movies and TV shows that have been offensive to me. In fact, so many, that I've banned myself from ever watching another movie again. The only movies I'm willing to watch now are Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and the Thief and the Cobbler.

Star Wars (ANH) is my favorite movie of all time. I like all six movies, including the prequels. There are only a few parts in the films which I deem offensive, but not enough to make me hate them. I actually thought Episode III was going to turn me against Star Wars, but in fact, it actually helps me combat a lot of the bad memories that come from movies. So all the SW movies, even the Prequels, have the strength to make me happy.

But you guys are making it so that anyone who even says they like the Prequels is a s***ty d***head. I'm not like them. I fully support the OOT and want it to be fully restored on DVD. I like the Prequels though not just because I enjoy watching them, because they help me combat bad memories.

So is it really a crime if I say I like the Prequels? Even though I'm an OOT fan?

Help Wanted: Question about the Thief and the Cobbler
Time

I would like to have all four versions of this movie (the workprint, the calvert, the miramax, and the recobbled), in widescreen on DVD. So I asked ocpmovie if he could burn me a copy of those, but he’s charging $40 for it! I asked him if I could send him replacement DVDRs, but he said no, he wants money. I know this is a profit-free community and selling bootlegs for money is illegal. And I just saw moth3r close down the Classic Edition 2.0 thread because ocp was charging money for it. So do you ocp’s jipping me for these discs? If yes, then could you send them to me for free? Because that’s the way it should be.

Paint Wars: A New Hope
Time
Don't give up man, this is fantastic stuff. Get an external harddrive for Christmas to store all the images on

Keep up the great work, but I don't blame you for wanting to take a few days off

I didn't say I was giving up. I'm just taking a break because drawing all those images is hard work.

The answer to that is PNG! The version of Microsoft's free Paint accessory that comes with Windows XP SP2 can save images as PNG. Same exact quality as BMP, but losslessly compressed to approximately 1/50th the original size...

Thanks, but I'd like to keep the pictures in their original format until it's absolutely necessary to compress them...
