I apologize Williarob. Having grown up with various vhs releases dvd blu ray and other stuff it was just something new to my eyes. Look like we may have found something new that was altered from the original none the less.

When first going through these projects frame by frame we see all sorts of things we didn’t expect.
This was the image that surprised me the most, I still get a laugh from it:

Gredo Puppet

I wish I could lose that much weight before death lol.

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 <strong>REVISITED</strong> ADYWAN *<em>1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION</em>
Time

Adywan, I have a suggestion. The shot of the tie fighter chasing Luke after he say’s “I can’t shake him.” It’s always bothered me the original practical shot has the Tie fighter’s red thruster showing, but the special edition shot does not. It’s always something that never looked right. When you see the back of a tie fighter the red thrusters show.

<strong>4K77</strong> - Released

Yes, at 1:43:54. All other releases I checked, including Silver Screen get bright, but return to normal levels. 4k77 stays bright for the whole (brief) shot. No screenshot necessary, I think people can view it for themselves.

Thanks g-force. I look on the other various versions as well. I’m sure by me telling them about it they can fix it for future releases.

Idea: My Star Wars Ultimate Collector's Set
Time

This sounds really goddamn amazing man! I don’t think Disney would do a set to this scale for cost and production reasons, but we can always try to create something like this ourselves and request Disney to create a set like this.

Well one can dream. I appreciate the feedback. As big of a company Disney is they can afford to spare no expense. I think it’ll bring a lot of fans together and it’ll give the opportunity to relive memories and share with others. Star Wars is Star Wars and is something special to a lot of people.

Idea: My Star Wars Ultimate Collector's Set
Time

Mainly a collector’s Set with a big focus on 1-6 but 7-9, Rogue One, Solo, and what ever the 3rd spin of film would be should have extra features to round out it being an ultimate set. What I mean by extras is it’ll include behind the scenes and extra material, old and new alike. Now what does my main focus on 1-6 involve well it really involves in a Gary Oldman fit of rage, EVERYTHING. In my mind it’s a Blu Ray set but we can go the 4k route being that’s the thing. From the Lucasfilm Vault we clean up everything with a new pristine picture with all the films, We can go other routes if necessary being my idea involves the original theatrical version of each film and every official release. Other Ideas meaning like what Harmy has done to make an unaltered original. No altering film tint involved , original colors but brought out to where it shines on your tv. All will have DTS or if possible Dolby ATMOS being that’s a new thing sound lovers crave. I would like original home video tracks as well like a remastered mono mixes and remastered as well. Harmy’s OT gave me an appreciation on the home video release tracks. This a dream and me assuming if I were an executive for Lucasfilm and or Disney and had access to the archive for this release.

What the set should offer:

Star Wars/Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope
With the original version you have the option of the Original Crawl or the 1981 Re-Release Crawl
you also have the 1997, 2004 and 2011 options as well.

Star Wars Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
1980, 1997, 2004 and 11. As a special bouns the 70mm version print remastered with the other effects and altering dialogue intact. I don’t know much except for what I read and heard on the 70mm release audience tape.

Star Wars Episode VI - Return Of The Jedi
1983, 1997, 2004, and 2011

Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace
1999, 2001, and 2011. Maybe for good measure being we had a theatrical release the 3d version included as well. Even though in my opinion it didn’t look to 3d to me.

Star Wars Episode II - Attack Of The Clones
35mm, DLP (DVD 02), Imax version 2002, and the 2011 version.

Star Wars Episode 3 - Revenge Of The Sith
2005 with option with wipe or without wipe for The Emperor’s arrival, and the 2011 version.

Star Wars Episode VII - The Force Awakens
2015 regular format and 2d Imax also 3d regular format and 3d Imax.

Rogue One - A Star Wars Story
2016 2d and 3d as option.

Star Wars VII - The Last Jedi
2017 2d and 3d as option.

Solo - A Star Wars Story
2018 2d and 3d as option.

Star Wars Episode IX - The Rise Of Skywalker
This is by assuming J.J Abrams as a filmmaker would have as options.
2019 regular format and 2d Imax also 3d regular format and 3d Imax.
(Update info on formats options coming soon)

Blank - A Star Wars Story (TBD)
This is assuming but it’ll be the the tie end of 12 films with multiple version the the 3rd line of spin off films together.
2020 2d and 3d as option.
(I want to hold out hope we will see another Spin Off film in the coming future so this will remain as a TBD until some time when more info comes or no spin theatrical release comes. If it is the case The Star Wars Stories sperate set will just be a duo instead of trilogy set)

Bonus Features.
Each film will have it’s separate bouns features either as the film it was apart on same movie disc or only IV-VI, I-III, VII-IX and The Star Wars Stories on their on seprate trilogy bonus disc. Each will have previous released documentaries, commentaries, deleted scenes, trailers and more extras upscaled in HD in their original formats with brand new documentaries, commentaries, and deleted scenes and new extras.

This is just a dream of mine and I hope one day we can enjoy every version of Star Wars like we can with Blade Runner and other various films. It’ll be preserved for future generations it can be something nostalgia for all Star Wars fans alike. I know not everyone loves everything Star Wars so I would love for fans to have the option on Original Trilogy Box Set, Prequel Trilogy Box Set, Sequel Trilogy Box Set, and Star Wars Stories Spin Off Box Set. All individual box sets will include their specific extras. In a time were most of the fandom is split I feel this is something we all could come together on and be excited for, if it were to ever happen. I like to have a discussion below and get your take on the idea of my Ultimate collector’s set. Very much would like to hear from you. 😃

The shot during the “Luke Pull up” it looks like and this is the only way I can explain it, someone turn the brightness up high for that one shot.

Why don’t you make a screenshot of the image you are talking about.

Just press “PrntScr” on your keyboard for the image in question, save the photo, go to a photo-hosting website and upload the screenshot that you saved, copy the link of the screenshot from the photo-hosting website, and paste the link here.

Well if I could I would. I use MPC-HC and can make screenshots from that program. I see people on here posting photos but dragging it to the “Post Content” box doesn’t work. I don’t want to set up a photo-hosting website I’m barley gonna use and get junk email. Maybe Towne32 could help out, or someone that could can. It’s after the flash from Luke Strafing run, 1:43:53:979-1:43:54:468.

I don’t know if it has been mention so forgive me if it has. During the Battle Of Yavin early on after Luke makes his strafing run and goes through the explosion he caused, I noticed something that looked off. The shot during the “Luke Pull up” it looks like and this is the only way I can explain it, someone turn the brightness up high for that one shot.

Harmy's THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK Despecialized Edition HD - V2.0 - MKV &amp; AVCHD (Released)

Once 3 comes out you can always downscale it to 720p and reduce the fidelity and make your own 2.5!

Yeah one could. I don’t know how to do that and it’s not really my area of expertise. It be kind of pointless too because we’re finally getting ready to get these films in 1080p. That’s like downgrading lol.

Wait, so is 2.5 of Empire cancelled?

That sad feeling when your looking forward to something you’ve been anticipating for

Project Threepio: Theatrical alien subtitle reference

then you hear it’s not gonna happen

Project Threepio: Matching subtitles

Ah, Catbus that was very funny, thank you. I really honestly needed a laugh I got some personal things going in my life but that really made me feel better. 😃

<em>Solo: A Star Wars Story</em> — Official Review and Opinions Thread — <strong>SPOILERS</strong>
Time

My biggest praise for this film, no planet title cards. After Rogue One and the Battlefront 2 (I know it’s a game but it follow the R.O Structure of planet title cards in the cutscenes.) campaign having titlecards, I had a bad feeling that this is how Lucasfilm were gonna handle these spin off stories. It seemed like Ron Howard knew the audience were smart enough to keep up with it. Unlike Gareth Edwards decision and not thinking we would keepup knowing where their going. “Setting Course of Edu”, still got the title card. “I know there’s a complete engineering archive in the data vault in the Citadel Tower on Scarif.” Scarif is mention many other times after that. Still we got a title card. I’m surprise we didn’t get a title card for the Death Star and Mustafar. With that aside. My only gripe was the alien yellow subtitles, I mean really ? Why start with yellow color subtitles when they’ve been white ? Overall I thought Solo was just an average fun space flick. Nothing to special but enjoyable fun. My favorite part is when they’re escaping the Empire and the greatest hits from the original trilogy involving the Falcon played in the background. 3 limbs ripped by a wookie out of 5.

1997 Star Wars Special Edition 35mm Project (a WIP)
Time

It’s interesting how Luke’s Lightsaber on the falcon is pale green like it ended up in the 04 dvd. Like Lucas said about the original negative after cleaning it up and adding the S.E stuff to it. Makes me wonder if the print they were working with when converting to DVD was like what you ended up with when you finish?? Being the reputation George was known for if you tell him something is off or wrong if Lowry decided not to tell him about it and went along with it???
