Yep. Ep 2 is bad but nowhere as bad as the ST.

Does the Leia training flashback set up a Twin Jedi spin-off? (TV show / comics / other)
Weren’t the recent Marvel movies re-released in theater with an extended cut, just a few months after their first release? I can totally see Disney / Lucasfilm trying the same thing here…
It’s not an open world, but you can revisit previous locations. And you can unlock shortcuts to somehow speed up later revisits. And you can visit accessible planets whenever you choose, even if it’s a bad idea!
I seem to recall that at the time The Force Awakens was released, people were saying that they would have liked to see the old gang together. But thinking of it, in the original trilogy, Luke, Han & Leia aren’t that much together. They don’t have a lot of scenes in common: in ANH: the beginning of the Death Star Escape, the return from the Death Star battle and the Celebration; in ESB: Luke’s recovery (and that’s all?); in ROTJ: the very end of escaping from Jabba, the Mon Mothma briefing, the first part of the Endor mission and briefly in the Ewok Celebration. They’re really on an adventure together only when they escape from the Death Star and during the Endor mission.
She’s only Palpatine by blood. She was abandoned at a young age, and it seems that her parents weren’t that close to her grandfather. She’s really a nobody.
Where they keep the ladders on the various small fighters in this universe is something that bothers me late at night.
The logistics of the X-Wing ladder on Dagobah gives me nightmares.
The ladder of Poe X-wing at the beginning of The Force Awakens disappears with movie magic too!
Having finished the game, I can say that you start seriously underpowered, so it’s rather very difficult early on, but as soon as you’ve learned some force abilities it become nearly too easy. Complete that skill tree, find the life & force essence, and learn to parry!!!
I think the granddaughter thing is a lie, to manipulate Rey. Manipulation is what Palpatine does best…
I think the problem with the new Wampa is that it’s a guy in a suit and he’s not a very good actor. And we see it far too much!
And C-3PO is really great in this movie, with an interesting role and some great lines!
Then we have to GET people to care.
There was a nice shot of Mando on the Dewback that matches the picture on the bottom of my lunchbox. The original was used in other memorabilia back in 77. An obvious inspiration for the shot in this episode.
A production still used on a lobby card:
(I remember being puzzled that this shot didn’t appear in the movie!)
Incredibly ambitious, and incredibly expensive! To do analog compositing, you’ll need an optical printer, are there any left still useable? It’s so much easier to do it on a computer! And I’m sure that if you want you can have the computer reproduce all the flaws of analog compositing (matte lines, etc.)
Reading Marx turns you blue?
So, when the Razor Crest has landed on a new planet it will stay there until it’s time to leave for another planet? As we’ve seen that it is very capable of atmospheric flight, couldn’t it be moved to another spot safer from Jawas, couldn’t it be used to reach the village faster and fight against the AT-ST?!

Wow I love this one! My main qualm with the posters of the sequels is that they have no consistency, unlike the PT and OT. Which I think is a big shame. It’d great if this was the style of the whole trilogy.
It’s from this year’s Star Wars Celebration Mural by Jason Palmer. All the movies and TV shows in the same style!
35 years…
Sorry I won’t watch it: I find the style awful. To me it destroys completely the tone of the comic book. Why couldn’t they use a style in line with the style of the comic book?
How can you kill such a giant rhino beast with such a small knife ?
He probably made an educated guess as to where the beast’s carotid artery was.
No bleeding ? Instant death ?!

I feel like it’s important to agree on some terminology here.
I submit for your consideration: yadpole.
YES. I second the motion to call baby Yoda “Yadpole”.
Care to explain the joke / play on words? English is not my first language, and I’m afraid I don’t get it!
