Looks like a modern take on the Rogue Squadron series ?!
Huh. Looks like the sandcrawler’s side hatch was planned to be a lot bigger at one point (with likely implications for the overall scale).
I think the big hole is there to access the internals (the remote controlled machinery). Only the other side of the sandcrawler was finished and filmed (with the film flipped when necessary)
When seated Darth Vader looks far less imposing! (Quite ridiculous actually)
And there’s exactly one shot where we see all three together:
Is the 2020 version stretched, or the 2011 version squished?
I think it’s the same mixes that were released on CD a couple of years ago; they’re just promoting them again because they are now available on streaming services?
Oh my!!!
https://youtu.be/qu2e35de1kQAnd now… the Arcade1Up sit-down version 😃
‘The Pros and Cons of Buying This Classic ‘Star Wars’ Trilogy Sit-Down Arcade Cabinet’:-
https://collider.com/star-wars-trilogy-arcade-cabinet-sit-down-arcade1up (still $500)
If only they did the old enclosed sit-down cabinet, knocked a fair few $$$ off - or added in the SW Trilogy Arcade game, then…
It just look like an upright cabinet with a bench in front of it…

But the enlarged part is actually from a few frames later:
4K isn’t activated yet on Disney+ in France to avoid saturating the network while everyone is still in lockdown and furiously consuming video over the internet.
As for ANH and alternate subtitles, I think the Radio Drama does it best with each episode having a custom title.
It seems that the USA have abandoned 3D blu-ray releases. But there is still 3D releases everywhere else, especially in Europe!
It’s a promotional image made in 1983. It appeared on lobby cards:
And on the cover of Cinefex:
The Princess of Alderaan would have been such a better title…
I’ve seen that passed around, & I disagree.
If Leia was the main character, maybe. But it’s clearly Luke’s story.
(Also, the aping of Edgar Rice Burroughs is right on the nose. Dunno If I hate that or love it.)
Leia may not be the main character, but she sets things in motion, and keep them in motion. She’s basically giving (direct and indirect) orders to the male characters throughout the movie!
For a less Burroughsian title, I suggest The Rebel Princess. I think it goes well with the other titles in the trilogy, said trilogy being about the Jedi, the Empire, the Rebels, and a Princess…
It seems she’s mainly a voice actress, but couldn’t Ashley Eckstein play Ahsoka in a live action show too?
He Was ‘Star Wars’ Secret Weapon, So Why Was He Forgotten?
Pretty much everywhere in Europe I think.
Finn’s speeder is literally falling apart while he tries to reach the weapon. It’s pretty clear in the movie that he won’t make it.
JJ Abrams doesn’t care about established rules of fictional technology, internal consistency of a fictional universe, if it looks cool, if it accelerates the plot. It’s all just magic tricks to him. Like in Star Trek Into Darkness when suddenly transporter technology allows you to beam across the galaxy.
