Look at the behaviors the air marshals are supposed to be tracking. It’s total nonsense.

you mean this stuff?

  1. SUBJECT WAS ABNORMALLY AWARE OF SURROUNDINGS
(If observed, check any that apply below) | Y N Unknown

Reversing or changing directions and/or stopping while in transit through the airport

Attempting to change appearance by changing clothes, shaving etc. while in the airport or on the plane

Using the reflection in storefront windows to identify surveillance

Observing the boarding gate area from afar

Boarded last

Observing other people who appear to be observing FAM team and/or subject

  1. SUBJECT EXHIBITED BEHAVIORAL INDICATORS
(If observed, check any that apply below) | Y N Unknown

  2. SUBJECT’S APPEARANCE WAS DIFFERENT FROM INFORMATION PROVIDED
(If yes, check any that apply below) | Y N Unknown

  3. SUBJECT SLEPT DURING THE FLIGHT
(If observed, check any that apply below) | Y N Unknown

  4. GENERAL OBSERVATIONS
(Provide detailed descriptions of any electronic devices in subject’s possession in AAR) | Y N Unknown

  5. FOR DOMESTIC ARRIVALS ONLY
(If possible, provide identifiers (license plate, vehicle description) of pick up vehicle in AAR) | Y N Unknown

I am not saying that they should be doing what they are doing, but I would not necessarily categorize all of the above as totally nonsense.

Basically don’t act like a weirdo in the airport (or like a normal person) because air marshals may be following you and documenting everything you do in hopes of discovering you’re up to no good.

That does seem concerning.

Of course the side of it is that the stakes are high. We don’t want bad people to be able to hijack planes and ram them into who knows what and kill who knows how many people.

Just as good an excuse to follow random people around anywhere and document everything they do…just in case they murder, rape, or rob.

*sigh* that is not what I meant. I also want to remind you that that there is more at stake than a just robbery or rape or murder. May I remind you that one of the planes hit the pentagon on 911 and that both the white house and capital were evacuated that day? For all we know the forth plane was either headed for the white house or capital. We are talking national security here.

Seems a really inefficient and ineffective way of spotting wrongdoers.

Probably is.

Lol.

I don’t think we’re supposed to laugh at that.

Awaiting further guidance…

Supposed to has nothing to do with it. It’s an amusing story to me and it strikes me as a tad bit funny. In the past, my willingness to giggle at insane news stories has been cited as examples of how I’m pure evil, but I don’t care. Some guy changing his gender for insurance reasons is so crazy that it’s funny.

Weren’t you specifically laughing at chyron’s post? My post was facetious, as I smiled at his post. Admitting to it would mean I’m on the wrong side of history or whatever.

Some day we’ll all admit that putting cows on clouds was a barbaric practice.

huh? I don’t get it.
